I faced similar issue. A person posted SCAM alert on one of the altcoin thread and i explained about the project and how it isn't a spam and my post got replied with a fuck you and shut up. I was baffled as to how a try for a mature discussion got reduced to just profanity by one person. I reported it to the moderator and the part containing the profanity got deleted, but the user is still active.

Can you give me examples and details of how/where he's being disruptive and I'll look into it later. Seems that user has been banned once before for trolling.

In my opinion, each country has a different understanding of spam. Since the forum is a global forum, the customs of all countries should be respected. I'll give you a list of what you think joined, airdrop, thank you sir is spam, but in some countries it's polite. If you participate in an activity without telling others, they will think you are unreasonable. There is a clear difference between Eastern and Western cultures. The nonsense that you think is really polite in some countries. You are constraining oriental civilization with western culture. It is not appropriate for a free forum. The above is just me Personal advice, no offense.

It seems as if you haven't read what the topic is about. It isn't about spam, or being overly kind with words while there is no need to ( when joining an airdrop), rather the opposite, e.g. constant harrasment of users by swearing at them etc, seems like something that isn't something you would want, even on a "Free Forum". ( <- Note that i do not know if this is actually the case, but that's the report of @OP.).

I am not a moral philosopher, but i could see why someone (would/could) have had enough of this guy.

is there any ban for these kind of users? They swear all the time on local sub forum and dont get any ban? It has become irritating  Angry

Just use the ignore feature, seriously.

I for one am glad profanity is not against the rules.  Censoring what people read because a few people don't like the language is stupid in 2018.  Let people swear all they want (within the rules) AND let those that don't want it ignore those that use it, actually seems like a completely reasonable solution!

You probably would have had more success showing him to be a a troll or shit poster (I don't know if he is either but if he is he deserves a ban based on rule breaking and not swearing).

As long as it's not purely for the sake of swearing and insulting but is logical in the context of a post, I don't think that it is disallowed by forum rules. You'll quite often see reputation and scam accusation posts with lots of profane language in it, but really nobody cares.

If this person just swears on purpose, to insult others, then perhaps he does deserve a ban.

However local subs are probably not moderated as heavily as the english boards, so you may have to PM the moderator that looks over the turkish board. It'll also be nice if a trusted turkish member can provide a translation or something.
like i said on my previous posts i reported his posts to local mod and mod told me he dont have any right to ban those people.
This guy swears on purpose and insult people almost every posts because he knows nobody wont ban him because of the profane language..

Examples? It's not allowed if they're purposely doing it just to be disruptive or troll etc but profanity in itself isn't dissalowed or against the rules but it all depends on the context.
