ok, deleted bitcoin from C drive, and deleted that junk, and re-install at my other Partition, and everything runs well( no more messages).. but i do have to re-scan the blocks wich is no problem for me, i will leave that computer running 24 hours, on the new partition that have more than 6 Gig, for now, im good...

So in order to futureproof, would your recommend 8gb + mem stick?

Well if you can get hacked and your USB mem stick is unplugged from ya rig, than ya wallet is safe...
So yes Mem-stick is safer...
Thats just the wallet.dat as backup not for using other things...

Well the thing is...
I downloaded the latest bitcoin wallet, and comes upt with a warning about "Displayed transaction may not be cottect, you may need to upgrade, or other nodes may need to upgrades.

I do have another partition on my harddrive that have plenty of space... how to re-direct it?

btw im running on XP

To run bitcoin-qt you need to download the whole blockchain.  That can be 5 or 6 gigs.  If you delete the blockchain then the client will download it again filling up your hard drive again and you'll have the same problem.  It's possible that you could delete files like blk0001.dat or blkindex.dat but you computer will start to put them back.  I looked these files take up over 6 gigs.

My harddisk getting full, annd yes i backed up my wallet.dat on my Mem-stick..

Is there a way to clean my bitcoin files and re-scan the blocks again?
