I actually sincerely believe in Bitcoin and its future and what it enables me to do
with my crypto finances.

Just because you believe in something doesn't make it true. Let's be honest, bitcoin is only really powered by people's faith in it and if people lose that then it could become worthless or worth very little. There's nothing really stopping any other currency overtaking bitcoin and that's what people have tried to do with the forks. They're trying to take bitcoin in the direction they want or believe is the true way.

Both of these statements are true -

Bitcoin is going to fall
Bitcoin is going to rise

I don't think we should ban people for saying bitcoin can -- or will -- fall. Some people are just more passionate about one or the other. Of course you can make a reasoned argument why you think one is more true than the other just like you can also troll baselessly and trying to fud in the process. So yes, bitcoin might be going to zero or continue to drop. It will almost certainly bounce back too. There's still money to be made in bitcoin regardless but anyone who think it's a guaranteed investment is a fool, just as those stating you're only going to lose money are also. People can obviously go too far though and there are certainly people who are just here to post fud and troll for whatever reason and maybe they should be handled by staff but this forum seems to have a largely hands off approach.

I must first say that the title of the post is nothing close to the content of the post.
Also positive movement of the market won't kill any one rather it would increase the number of peoples interested

I do too, but I find it a bit easier than you obviously do to ignore the bears/trolls/FUDsters.  That kind of stuff happens in every bear market--people start getting even more pessimistic and start losing faith in bitcoin.  Don't let them get to you.  In fact, try not to let anyone on this forum get to you.  It's just a discussion forum with a bunch of anonymous people behind keyboards writing a variety of stuff.  Some of it is good, but on bitcointalk in particular most of it is complete nonsense.

The negativity seems to be contagious, its not just newbies posting crap but others
whose rank suggests they have been around the forum for a while.
I'd be interested to know who you're talking about specifically, or at least which sections they're posting in.  If it's a section like Speculation, it might not be a bad idea to just stay away from there for a while, at least until bitcoin rebounds.

Ah im not that affected by the negativity, I a actually trying to
counteract what they say for the newbies sake so that they
dont get a skewed view of bitcoin. Newbies being those registered
here or just lurking.

I think most believe in bitcoins future, some of us have invested quite a bit of time and money into it too...

I too would be curious to know of specific fudsters. There is one or two I can think of but they’ve been spreading dud since I’ve been here, I don’t actually remember their names though.

There is one main antagonist who is quite active freightjoe and who I can remember

The last things we need are vaccines for Bitcoin. It's healthy, and it has a great immune system - please lets keep it that way.

Bitcoin is a major economic revolution, and it is spawning numerous alternative "solutions". Most of these are fraudulent, but several are beneficial, and will become a part of out daily lives. All of the FUD and attacks on Bitcoin are by the ignorant, the unintelligent, the scammers, the banksters, and those who are frightened by the loss of the current fiat system. There are also a lot of people who sensationalise the situation in order to exploit public media, and unfortunately Bitcoin Talk is included in this. It should be an oasis of sanity, and we could create this if the sensible amongst us remain, and make constructive posts.

no not Bitcoin itself but instead some people who are susceptible
to the negativity !

Safe yourself some sanity and ignore the fudsters. Nothing of value will be lost.

Bitcoin has been pronounced dead many times before and will be pronounced dead many times again, yet the network keeps on hashing and the devs keep on improving. Whether the Bitcoin experiment is alive does neither depend on the price, nor on what naysayers may think but only on how the project keeps on growing and developing.

Absolutely!

I'm not quite sure what this thread is doing in the meta board as we all believe in the bitcoin,at least a large percentage of us(bitcoiners),and also trust it's future potentiallties.

You cannot expect a forum of individuals with different mindsets to be an utopia, there must be trolls, shills and those thrash talking the bitcoin simply cos they are at a loss
Cant wait for positive movements in the market to kill them off.......
Same here mate, same here!

There’s some not so bad threads there... https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.48056717

Unless they are just retarted can't do something for their future might as well waste their bullshiting around the market.

This is a lot of people. Probably 90% of the internet is made up of these and 99% of the world...

They exist because they were gaining something while doing it.

If not then obviously they would never waste their time and effort doing so. Unless they are just retarted can't do something for their future might as well waste their bullshiting around the market. I also am staying away from speculation section that place is out of place

In every society, we shall always have negative minded individuals, naysayers name it. Most of such individuals are losers are looking forward to spreading their disease to the rest.

Don't let such people even get in your head.
Am very sure some of such individuals are noobs who let FOMO take over their decision making during last year's bull run, rushed to bought BTC or other cryptos when their prices were already at the peak and ever since then, they have only seen their money shrink to crumbles while others ended up selling at looses.
Obviously, most of them are bitter, frustrated and stupid.
