I'm looking to figure out the resale value of this build I put together last January. Thanks for any input!

Case: NZXT Source 530
Mobo: Asus Z87-A
PSU: Seasonic 850W
CPU: i5 4670k
CPU Cooler: Corsair H60 Liquid Cooler
Ram: 2x4GB G. Skill, red heatsinks on them
GPU1: Asus R9 270x DirectCU II 2GB
GPU2: Sapphire R9 270x Vapor-x 2GB
HDD1: 120GB Intel SSD
HDD2: WD Blue 500GB
Random old DVD-RW drive
Some pci-e wireless card

I just put the same build together on pcpartpicker and it came out to around $1300.
Am I crazy or are not very powerful PC's selling for pretty high prices on ebay?

About $800, computer parts depreciate a lot especially after the new GTX 980 launch.

realistically?
case = $50 (most people dont care too much for the case)
mobo = $100
CPU = $150
ram = $50
GPU = $150 each
SSD = $50
HDD = $50
wifi and dvd drives = $20
TOTAL = $700-800, computer parts massively lose value used

The problem with Ebay....SHIPPING  Roll Eyes

Shipping is very high & risky,I've shipped PC's all over the US (65 gamer PC's so far) & about 20% get damaged in shipping,CPU HSF pop off,GPU's get jogged out of the PCIE slot,some even ripped the PCIE slot off the mobo  Sad

I went so far as too use large foam chucks in between the GPU & CPU HSF,encapsulating the CPU HSF.It helped but FedEx & UPS are very abusive on large boxes  Roll Eyes

& the 11% of sale charge,then another 8% of Paypal charge..........

You might do better by selling the parts separately,less risk & cheaper shipping,USPS has had better rates lately,if you go with 5-7 day ground  Wink
