How much would an 8-char case-sensitive one be?
An 8-char case-sensitive address would take me about 170 years to generate, so that won't be possible until I get better hardware. In contrast, an 8-char case-insensitive address would take about 5-10 days.

How much for 7-char case sensitive?
A 7-char case sensitive address would take around 3 years, so again, it's not currently feasible. A 7-char case-insensitive address would take about 7 hours.

Case-insensitive addresses are much easier because there are two possibilities for each character (capital or lowercase), instead of looking for one specific string. There's always the chance that a case-insensitive address could turn out lowercase, but running it enough times for that to be likely would take the same amount of time as searching for a case-sensitive one. There's also the possibility that the address being searched for could be the first one generated, but the odds of that are far, far worse than the lowest chances at SatoshiDice (speed is measured in thousands of keys per second, and it still takes hours to days for 5-char case sensitive addresses).

Sorry, but "andreas" is seven characters, which would take me much longer (a few months instead of one day) to generate case sensitive. That's why there's no listing for 7 characters under case-sensitive. If you still want it to be case-sensitive, is there another address you would like that is shorter?

To use bitaddress.org for the private key, click on "Vanity Wallet" and click generate. Then send me the public key, and make sure to save your part of the private key. Once I generate the other part of the private key, paste both of them into the form and click "Calculate Vanity Wallet" to get the full private key, which you can then import into your bitcoin client (importprivkey in the debug console with bitcoin-qt).

Sure. Case-insensitive, right? It should be done in a few hours, but if it takes too long I might have to send it to you tomorrow morning.

I've got a bit of spare processing power, so I'm using it to generate vanity addresses for a small fee.

Case-Sensitive:
4 Characters - 0.01BTC
5 Characters - 0.025BTC
5 Characters (after Q) - 0.05BTC

Case-Insensitive:
4 Characters - 0.005BTC
5 Characters - 0.01BTC
6 Characters - 0.025BTC
7 Characters - 0.05BTC

If you don't trust me (I'm relatively new, so I wouldn't blame you), you can send me a public key from bitaddress.org (don't forget to save the partial private key!) and I can generate the other part of the private key from that for you to use in Step 2, which will give you the full provate key to import into your wallet.

NOTE: If the first letter is Q or later in the alphabet, the address takes much longer to generate and will be counted in the next bracket (If there is no next bracket, that means the address would take me several days to generate; if you still want it, PM me, but the fee will be higher).
