any idea what this means ? is more thats needed to be done thansk in advance
try using it with -S option
Code:
./oclvanitygen 1test -S -v -1 -i -D 0:0  -o 1test_GPU.txt
-S safe mode
-v verbose output
-1 stop after first match
-i case insensitive
-D 0:0 specifies which GPU
-o write output to file

If you have a radeon from the HD 7xxx series you should use 12.10 SDK and this special version of vanitygen: https://lifeboat.com/oclvanitygen

Thx and yes am using one of the 7 series. What would be recommended to use with r280 cards or are they too new to use for generation of addresses?

There isn't yet an optimized version for r9 series, so unfortunatly you will get lower performance compared to hd 7xxx series

SO how do  I get this working then tried again and getting same output as before. Think going to have to complitly remove and manually remove drivers start over.

is their a way to pool mine like the pools set up and point some aiscs at it as would be nce to make soem much longer custom addresses

AMD Catalyst 13.10 Drivers should work fine. At least that's what I use.
Oh, and that with normal VanityGen.

Does your GPU have proper drivers installed?
Try running it with -v, and posts the results here.
