I bought CBX last year at VaulOfSatoshi.com. Unfortunately, I didn't receive their notification until few weeks ago. I send an email to [email protected] and [email protected]. But, reply at all. Anyone able to advise how to reach them in order to request withdraw?

We are past mid april now and still nothing. No answers to emails.

I have collected a lot of data on both directors of VOS.

Initially incorporated on April 18, 2013 as Global Cryptocurrency Solutions Incorporated and renamed Vault of Satoshi Inc. on August 8, 2014. I have all the personal details of both directors of Vault of Satoshi when I paid for a Corporation Profile Report. Their MSB license was issued on March 25, 2014 with MSB license #M14807589.

I am still hoping that the funds will come before the end of April. I would love to avoid having to take legal action but it is not looking good since there has been no response to emails other then back on Feb 18 when I got the email saying their financial institution had placed restrictions on them and payouts would begin processing in mid_april 2015.

Withdrawal has not come in. We are mid april and no more responses to emails sent asking where my money is.

I can't believe there are not more people complaining about not getting their funds.

Please if you have not gotten your withdrawals when VOS closed down post here and let us know...or if you did let us know too.

Ha, I just checked in on VOS today for the first time since November.  Boy was I surprised. 

The last four months involved moving across the country and finding a new job and apartment.  So my hands were kinda full, and I wasn't checking up on what's happening in bitcoinland.

I'm really surprised that VOS never sent me an email announcing their closure.  No email about the deadlines, no email about the fees.  Now it's April 6th and who knows if I'll see any of the bitcoin or money I had left on their system.  I'm not even sure how to request a withdrawal.  Really disappointing.

I was successful at withdrawing my fiat las december but i just tried to withdraw two bitcoins last week and got a message saying " unab'e to process request, please contact customer service", to my horror!

It seemed clear when we got the news of VOS shuting down that we had a lot more time to get our bitcoins out.

I contacted the guy, no response yet

I am also in this boat, although I don't think they are shutting down the site until June. I have been waiting for a month for my money and no one has contacted me. I have sent multiple emails. Anyone else have any other info ?

How are you planning on launching a complaint?

Just got an email from VOS support:

"Due to restrictions placed on us by our financial institution, any outstanding withdrawal requests will be processed beginning mid-April, 2015.

 

We understand that this is not an ideal situation, unfortunately, after much discussion with our bank, we have been unable to expedite the process.

 

Your patience during this process is very appreciated.

Had I known this I would have just not sold the BTC and transferred BTC out instead.

They also said they were closing their bank accounts in March 2015 so I am not sure how now outstanding withdrawals will be made in April.

This guy was having problems withdrawing. He has not yet replied to the thread he started to let us know if he got his money. It might be worth sending him a pm as you are both in the same boat.

I put my fiat withdrawal in last friday(the exchange closed on tuesday) and I'm still waiting for a response, anyone else having this issue?


Thanks for the info I will contact that person. They were registered as an MSB in Canada fwiw I may file an official complaint since they were licensed.

Vault of Satoshi was a Canadian bitcoin exchange of which I was using on a regular basis.

They announced a couple of months ago that as of Feb 5th 2014 they would be closing down.

I initiated my last cash withdrawal with them a few days before they officially were closing. I have not yet received this withdrawal (2 weeks+). All the phone numbers they had listed are now disconnected. They are not answering support emails even after waiting their 1-2 weeks advertised time frame for support answers.

Is anyone else in this situation with them?
