Yeah he is right.  You really don't need (2) 1000w power supplies.  My six gpu right is only pulling 1100W while mining after power adjustments.  It was pulling 1375W total out of the box.  I just got them cheap enough that I didn't care.  Two 850W psu's is plently.  I like the evg's because of their warranty.  I didn't look into Corsair, so I'm not sure what kind of warranty they come with.

I personally would stick with 6 cards on a board, but that's totally up to you.  I work a regular 9-5 job, so I can't babysit the rig all day long.  I just want it to work with minimal problems.

You can always build a second 6 gpu rig later on.  I'm in the process of building my second one now.  GPU's have been on backorder for two weeks though.

I'm currently using 110 outlets, but I have a friend that's an electrician who is going to do some 220 outlets for me.  My 110's are on a 15 amp circuit in the spare bedroom I'm going to be moving my mining rigs to, so I really don't have a choice.  The current wiring won't allow for more than 15 amps and a single 6-gpu rig draws 10 amps on 110 outlet at 1100W.

Just to let you know that you can pick the Pentium G4560 that cost 20 more and is HT.
Its a good processor and really cheap. The power use is similar, Pentium 54w and Celeron 52W. But it idlle with 1w less than the Celeron.
You can use this good CPU later. Its a very good one!

Ive picked this one to my Vega rig. I'm still waiting for delivery.
Ive paid in Brazil US$757(really cheap here) each of my 6  Saphire Vega 64.
With 6 cards you really dont need 2x1000w but its a good call IF you can find it cheap so you can add more cards later. My option was 2x RM850X(one without the X that is better) from Corsair.

good luck

Great. If 6 cards is more stable and less headaches i will happy to do only 6.

This is what i have so far:

Asus PRIME Z270-P
6x  Sapphire Vega 64
6x PCI risers
Intel Celeron G3930
128gb SSD

I will look into thoes powersupply units you mentioned.  do you use 220    i want to do 220 to save power.

I use the Asus PRIME Z270-P.  More than six cards on a board is just asking for trouble.  I know it can be done, but those who I've talked to that do it say that it isn't worth the hassle.

How much are those server power supplies?  You might save money going with two 1000w evga semi modular.  There really is no benefit to having a fully modular psu.

I'd go with Sapphire or XFX on the cards.

Hello im considering building a Vega rig for mining xmr . Can i get some suggestions with an either 4 or 6 card vega 64 build   I want something stable (not counting initial time building setting it up ofcorse) that i do not have to micromanage/troubleshoot every few days/weeks. electricity is around 10-11 $USD cents here in canada   i have noticed not many are choosing the server power supplies is there a reason for this ?

im thinking:
6x Gigabyte Vega 64
Intel Pentium G4400
2x 900W HP Server platinum power supply    @220
32GB thumb drive for hard drive

thats as far as i got so far, need suggestions for motherboard and ram

Go with something other than Gigabyte cards.  They are dog shit. You don't need a Pentium processor.  Celeron is fine.  Get a 120gb ssd.  60gb of that is going to be your paging file.  No comment on the psu's.  I don't use server psu's.

Get 4GB of DDR4 ram and an Asus motherboard.
