the p0-p5 states voltage needs to be lower than the p7 state, then vdcc adjusting works fine. just do you own powertables with an editor


this is mine for example... 1448mhz/880mv gives me ~1401mhz@875mv

The GPU is in the higher power states (mem_p3 and gpu_p7) when you are mining or gaming.  Very little time spent in lower p states.

Why do miners care about setting lower p states up?

Never really understood exactly why but i noticed that the power draw from the wall (measured with watt meter) is always higher even if you are at the P7 state's lowest voltage. The GPU seems to function at the highest voltage level regardless of P state. You could have P7 at 800mv but if your P3 is at 1500mv your GPU would still be drawing that amount of power.
