Hey all. I'm Rhys one of Volentix team members. I just wanted to jump in and confirm the response to deisik.

We are trying not to spam to many people with emails, however, as we get closer to the release we will be sending out more information. As you can imagine, we are pretty heads down on ensuring the product launch is solid and works as expected.

Yes the rates will definitely be competitive. The whitelisting will also help us determine what the rewards structure will look like.

Also as a side note: rewards will never be lowered, however if we see a huge uptick in users or participation in the future, we can always add rewards to compensate to make sure everyone is treated more than fair.

We wont, but what will happen is before the beta period goes live, all who joined the whitelist will receive emails with signup details.

Venue itself is able to detect your user level, so only those who have the required user level (according to the ruleset in the announcement post above) will be able to participate.

Anyone who doesn't have the minimum required user level can still be whitelisted, but they will only be eligible for future campaigns such as twitter, telegram, slack etc.

Hi, Im James one of the team members with Volentix.

We have built software that automates signature campaigns, complete with:

Leaderboards,
Spam Detection and Mitigation
Live Stats
Rewards
And much more


The bandwidth it requires is very low vs manual campaigns. Also the stats are up to date so members never need to worry they are not receiving proper credit or rewards.

The above post is the whitelisting announcement for the upcoming Volentix signature campaign, which is a beta period that starts on the 22nd of this month. Tenets of the Bitcointalk campaign:

• Ensure ultimate respect towards associated forum's bandwidth is maintained (Lowest footprint possible), especially in relation to the amount of data required to maintain a manually tracked campaign.
• Reward high quality users who participate in Volentix related signature campaigns and various other related social postings.
• Ensure highest quality of posts, helping to mitigate sites/forums from being inundated with spam etc.
• Allow campaign manager(s) to warn and or immediately remove bad actors, spammers or those generally not abiding by either the forum rules or the stated signature campaign rules.

Also in the future, Venue will:

• transition into a larger project which tracks bounties, proposals and updates etc
• upon testing, be made available open source

DISCLAIMER: ANY sign of repeated low quality posts or spam during the beta campaign will result in dismissal from the beta testing period and any subsequent campaigns thereafter.


How does VENUE work?:

Venue rewards members with points for every applicable and rewardable action.

The total points any member has earned by the end of the campaign, relative to all other points in the system determines the amount of rewards per member.


How does Venue determine "Total Points Score"?:

Posts with Signature are worth 100 points (Minimum maturation of 24 hours with signature per post)

• Hero Legendary Members receive a 5% bonus per post. Posts are worth 105 points in this case.
• Senior Members receive a 2% bonus per post. Posts are worth 102 points in this case.
• Full Members are eligible for bonus once they have moved up in member rank.

How does Venue determine "Reward Per User"?:

Example:

In a world where VENUE has (Between all users)

75,000 Total VTX available as a reward

380,000 Total points in the system

Of the above numbers Example if User1 has:

3,800 points

User1's total reward would then be:

(75000/380000)*3800 = 750 VTX as a reward


How does VENUE track stats?:

Firstly, Venue ONLY looks towards users which have expressed the intention of participating. No other user in associated forums are known to the system.

In order to fully respect forum bandwidth, we have created the system to only need input from 1-2 user profile pages. We feel this is far superior, far more efficient and far more respectful of a forums bandwidth vs a manually tracked campaign which often require 100's of page loads per user throughout 100's of potential threads.


What happens if I remove or change the signature?:

• If a member is quickly changing to another Venue related signature, that member will still receive points as usual.
• If a member is changing to another project’s signature, that member will receive points for any post with the signature, however points for any post that did not reach the minimum maturation time (23 out of 24 hours) would be removed.
• If a member removes their signature altogether for longer than a certain period of time, points for any previous post with a Venue signature that didn’t reach the minimum maturation time (23 out of 24 hours) would be removed.
• Members who go a long period without a Venue related signature, who then decide to re-add a Venue related signature will receive points as usual for any new posts from that point on. Minimum maturation time requirement of 23 out of 24 hours per post with signature in place, still apply.

What is a high quality post?:

This is ultimately determined by the associated forum's rules. We respect these rules and will be actively looking for anything that does not meet that forum's quality post threshold.

Posting to ONLY gain points in this signature campaign will undoubtedly stand out. Our advice is to take each thread you are posting in seriously and only post in that thread if you would have otherwise posted without the signature campaign in mind. High Quality posts in our humble opinion ADDs to each discussion.

How can I create a signature for the the campaign?:

Simple! You can send any submissions to us directly in private messages and if they have a place on the campaign we will add them along with info pointing to your profile.


Will VENUE be released open source?:

Yes. Once we have completed beta testing and subsequent tests show reliability, Venue will be released open source.
