It just looks like there is someone out there with a vengeance against the verge project because it seems like no matter how hard they try they cannot just catch a break. Most coins have never had to worry about or deal with hacks while verge seem to be averaging an hack per month. I just feel sorry for the investors who have money in it seeing as this is affecting the prices negatively.

Hmm, I wonder can it be somehow related to the fact that McAfee took part in Verge promotion at the end of 2017?  Roll Eyes

According to Cointelegraph Altcoin Verge Hacked For Second Time In Two Months, Around $1.4 Mln Stolen.

Verge tweeted that their mining pools were under a DDOS attack on May 21, noting that they were working to resolve it:
"it appears some mining pools are under ddos attack, and we are experiencing a delay in our blocks, we are working to resolve this."
