when i was mining verge, i did it directly to a mobile coinomi wallet. it was extremely easy to set up. same goes for my zencash and bctz. just waiting for ledger support for zen now.

Like Metroid said, downloading the blockchain fixes the issue. I had to do it a couple of days ago.

I'm not sure what your issue is, but are you just trying to see your balance?
I'm having a hard time trying to sync this stupid wallet. Number 1, it seems to get stuck on the same block after awhile of running. Like a day, not minutes or even hours. Number 2, why does it seem like if it did fully sync, it would take a few days to complete? No, I've never used it before.
