Seriously i've heard of this news about 7 May several times. But I believe the indicator still is BTC, BTC's trend is everything no matter what kind of news out there.
I will not say anything like ripple is gonna be security or ethereum be... as I don't know how sec consider an asset as a security but these circumstances says there will be another crash.

I was reading about this morning. Hopefully ETH is determined not to be a security otherwise the impact could be very detrimental to the crypto markets. If ETH is a security, it will mean many other coins will have to be as well.
In my opinion, neither eth nor ripple will be determined as security but I think they will not also determined as pure utility token. It is in fact very complicated
