I know it's old, i just wonder what this cpu is capable of  Grin

CPU mining was dead A LONG TIME AGO. For comparison, one of my Avalons will do at least 60 GH/s (GigaHashes per Second) - This is about 3 MILLION times faster than your CPU (2.4KH/s).

Good luck because you will need an immense amount of it Wink

Edit: sorry, your CPU is dual core... 5KH/s MAX

I'm experimentally mining in my old laptop which has the Core Duo T2350 @ 1.86GHz × 2. Here is the configuration:
Code:
minerd -o http://coinminer.net:19331 -u WjGzDtbD9DjtgKq5RpMfSKHD9JPjPrxvRG.1 -p x -a scrypt-jane

And the overall speed is:
Code:
thread 0: 5781 hashes, 2.36 khash/s
 thread 1: 5871 hashes, 2.40 khash/s

My OS is Ubuntu 13.04 and i was expecting more actually. What do you think?
