I did notice on the ebay auction you have "PAYMENT BITCOIN ONLY" specified. I wasn't aware that could be enforced and am wondering if you could provide some pointers on how you handle those transactions?
An attentive community can act as a security measure. Providing history knowledge, precise pictures, details like 118g weigth of this item.
That holo should be tamperproof.
Escrow seems advised, just how to proof the delivery process? So far there is no postal blockchain in existance.
Even if there was a postal blockchain.... you are assuming there are no problems in the physical world.... which we all know the wonders of the USPS, UPS, and Fedex
There is no 100% proof unless the person states they have the item in hand......
Even if the delivery service states "delivered".... this is oft not proof of delivery as the package could have been scanned and left on a doorstep.... still doesn't mean that I have it in hand.
I ran into this problem recently..... I had to wait until the person actually stated "I have the item"
Short of a restricted signature delivery to that specific person, you are still taking a chance unless you hand deliver the item yourself.

I ran into a similar issue the item said delivered and I never received it. I think that purchases over a certain amount should be hand delivered

So these bars were minted in 2011 but funded "two years ago"? How does one know when they were funded? Which number is more significant - when the unfunded bar was created or when the unfunded bar was funded?

The Year in the chart reflects when the metal bars were produced, not when it was assembled with the special holo.

These are not normal 100B bars. They were produced by Mike C roughly 2 yrs ago. Bitguy to my knowledge, arranged with Mike to get these. There were only 4 bars like this, and another 8 with the holo upside down and with a dot added on the holo. Another one of a kind 1000B bar was made. They were sold unfunded due to the regulation issues.

There are so many options to store your bitcoin, you would probably end up losing out on money in the long run if you were to do this. People would prefer an untouched bar if you ever want to sell it in future and you're more likely to get a higher premium on it.

I personally wouldnt load it. I think it devalues the collectibility should you wish to resell one day. But I also wouldn't sell it unless you get what you want you're looking for.

I agree with all that Bithalo and bitguy are saying. These are separate very limited runs of unfunded cas bars - and not of the standard none denomination bars. The funded bars were produced in greater numbers and can be referenced on Uberbills etc.

I can confirm from my direct dealings with Mike, from what he stated, these were the only leftover bars he had and he did these for me only.
He and I collaborated on these to accomplish these without them being funded. Mike came up with the zero btc holo and the upside down and red dot variants. I have never seen any others pop up that did not match the numbers I have on these and the other limited bars I had.
I can confirm out of the 4- 2FA 100 btc ones, the ending numbers on the holos end with: 40,24,69,55, and that all were sold/traded.
I believe this corresponds with both holos shown.
I can also confirm the value/selling price on these definitely exceeded the offers on the thread.

This offering is not funded, it represents a different, limited offering Mike did. I am pretty sure the mintage is much higher than four, that is just how many we know about.

If the collectible community takes off, we will have more collectors, and the goal of completing sets will apply the most pressure to those pieces with the most limited mintage.
To that end, something like this is a neat buy, But only as a longer term speculative investment with potentially a complete loss, and also potentially a multiple-fold gain.

I have dealt much with Mike Caldwell and in early 2014, after Casascius stopped selling loaded bitcoins due to regulatory issues, was able to work with him and convince him to let go of the only remaining bal of the "empty" 100 bars left. He also had 2- 1000 btc ones left empty.
He was not going to let them go as he didn't want to release any unloaded ones as to not confuse anyone and he felt loading them with 100 and 1000 btc loaded was just too much money these days. $30k to $300k, ouch!
He came up with and agreed to use "factory "zero btc" holograms. These are not re-manufactured redeemed 100 btc bars, these are factory original and factory produced. There were only 8- 100 btc bars made with regular key, and 4- 100 btc bars made 2FA, and 1- 1000 btc bar 2FA. (actually he did sell another 1000 btc bar on ebay and bids went up to $8k, wow!). We had 1 of the 100 btc bars and traded it for $7500 equivalent. (See picture of it for reference, but no, sorry, it is not available still.) I have provenance of these bars from Mike with PGP signed scan and bunch of emails, and will release/include info with the bar upon purchase.
Bars are as received from manufacturer and may contain minor abrasions to gold plating due to handling at the factory. 2FA Bars were was wrapped in clear cellophane for protection. Non 2FA bars are in orig factory thick plastic wrapped and should be mint. (this is normal, all bars I have seen and sold are this way.)
Price includes shipping and insurance.

There remains 17 funded, version one, 100 BTC bars.
There are a larger number of version two bars.
This offering is not funded, it represents a different, limited offering Mike did. I am pretty sure the mintage is much higher than four, that is just how many we know about.
I shifted focus a few years back to acquiring the most limited mintage pieces. My long-term view is that if the collectible community fails, it won't matter what the specific investments are. If the collectible community takes off, we will have more collectors, and the goal of completing sets will apply the most pressure to those pieces with the most limited mintage.
To that end, something like this is a neat buy, But only as a longer term speculative investment with potentially a complete loss, and also potentially a multiple-fold gain.

There were only 4 bars like this, and another 8 with the holo upside down and with a dot added on the holo. Another one of a kind 1000B bar was made. These are not the bars I know of from cflow. The one I had at one point was the bar with the upside down holo and red dot. Regardless, they're still great pieces to have.

While these bars are rare, I think your asking price is a bit too ambitious. The last bar I saw went for 1.7 BTC, and that was when Bitcoin was $700
