During the first few seconds of his video he said that he will tell why he think that Bitcoin will reach 10 million dollars but he didn't really answer when or even why Bitcoin will become "10 Million dollars" in the future he instead put up a bunch of past interview videos on telling that it will become 10 million dollars. But this was a nice video showing the two sides of Bitcoin which the ones who supports and the ones who oppose like Jaimie Dimon and Brad Sherman, I was just hoping that he had answered his own question at the end.

True. I didn't mind though, as I wasn't really interested in the reasoning anyway because it's all price speculation. I just saw the title as a sort of click bait.

There is no way the price of a BTC could reach $10 million (in today's dollars). Even if you replaced all of the gold in the world and all of the money in the world with BTC, a BTC still would be worth less than $10 million.

It's market cap so it is possible. It would be astonishingly silly but not a 100% no no. This is why I wish we had something better than market cap but no one's come up with anything yet.

I agree that speculation could drive the price to any value, temporarily, but I stick to the fundamentals because I don't like to gamble.

Just watched this video just recently because of it annoyingly appearing multiple times on my YouTube feed. In my opinion, it's probably a great short documentary(44 mins) to send to people if someone you know wanted to know what bitcoin is(non technical). It's a good one if you ask me.

NOTE: While the title sounds like the video is focused on the market value of Bitcoin, it's not.

Documentary includes:
  • Central banks and hyperinflation
  • Where Bitcoin comes in/The point of Bitcoin
  • Common misconceptions and the similar complaints with past technologies
  • Positive statements of multiple big names about Bitcoin
  • How Bitcoin is slowly but surely creeping in into the mainstream
  • etc

While most of the Bitcoin veterans most likely knows already 99% of what's discussed in this video, it's still a decent video to get more pumped up with the future of Bitcoin.

just what the forum needs, getting back on track why we got intrested in bitcoin in the first place and for most of us it was the tech and the world changing possiblilities not money , money was just a side effect.

There is no way that the price of a bitcoin could reach $10 million (in today's dollars).

Even if you replaced all of the gold in the world ($8 trillion) and all of the money in the world ($18 trillion) with Bitcoin, a bitcoin would be worth only $1.24 million, which is still much less than $10 million.

I think $140,000 is doable. That is the equivalent of replacing the USD with BTC. Even though replacing USD is extremely unlikely to ever happen, people holding BTC as savings will boost the price somewhat.

Some people (notably the Winklevii) predict $350,000, which is equivalent to replacing all the gold in the world with BTC. Again, that is unlikely to happen, but BTC is better than gold (assuming that it succeeds as a currency), so it could replace gold to some extent.

Some people say $1 million. I think that is just wishful thinking.

We are too focused on different coins and tokens that are popping out everywhere.

A lot of people are going to feel stupid once 95% of the altcoins dies simply due to them being really completely unnecessary.

Thank you for that.
I guess this one is what we are missing by now.
We are too focused on different coins and tokens that are popping out everywhere.

We are forgetting how good bitcoin is. Right. A good reminder again and getting pumped up.
I do think even veterans here are getting bored of what is happening since a lot of coins are beginning created to take advantage of the technology which sometimes go to the wrong way.

Better stay with the trusted one. Bitcoin it is.
