What is up with the comment "Bain partnered with a bitcoin miner".  I've not been able to find anything about this?

The speaker seems to be a regular on CNBC also.   Tagent website http://www.tangentcapital.com/index.html has other appearances.  Does his regular appearance add respectibility from the viewpoint of the audience?  I'd think so.  Definately beginning to go mainstream!

I'll consider it mainstream only when the WSJ does an article like this.

Well, Bitcoins became mainstream today.  It made the front page of WSJ  "Money and Investing"  (Section C).  First article specifically mentioning Bticoins.  Pretty balanced and accurate.

The guy got his facts mostly accurate, and while he confused "Chainblock" with "Blockchain" he won mega points at the end for the Federal Reserve comment Smiley

Notice that the discussion was NOT about drugs and silk road. Bitcoin's reputation has improved, markedly.

Incredible. Many of us always predicted this sort of thing, Bitcoin starting to enter mainstream consciousness, but still kinda crazy to see it play out.

I agree this guy did surprisingly well explaining, so much so his "chainblock" slip up doesn't dilute his powerful explanation. Fed comments at the end FTW definitely  Smiley
