Do you guys think that recent ban put on cryptocurrencies by Indian government and finance department will have any kind of effect on the usage of bitcoin or any other altcoin.
I would not call it a ban on Cryptocurrencies. A ban would be where the government declares holding and Trading in cryptocurrency to be illegal. The RBI which decides on the Monetary policy of the country has asked the banks to not operate Bank A/C's of exchanges. This system has led to creation of a new model where the exchanges hold a P2P trade by facilitating the terms between Buyer and sellers.
While the law had created an environment of skepticism, the community has found a way around the loopholes in the present law. So to answer your query, I don't think that the law has had such an impact.

Accordingly to me ,it has affected people whose wallets similar to zebpay which demand bank verifications. But  whereas wallets like mycelium and coinomi don't require any sort of verifications so using these kinds of wallets can still allow people to use bitcoin without any issues
