How someone from chennai did this when NASA and ISRO can't find it for months?
Its just possible from LRO orbiter from NASA since they make the pics available to public on their domain.
There you have the answer to the puzzle, since everything is publicly available the people who are enthusiastic about the space study will find time to monitor and investigate everything and that is what happened here, there are many talents sitting outside and this is a prime example, select people because of the merit and not because of recommendation and the system needs to change.
ISRO didn't have a public site that is the real problem and also contacting ISRO officials was a big problem that is why this person contacted NASA officials after long wait from ISRO tweets.Big corruption and lazy people everywhere.

Since we lost the contact from vikram lander and the rover which is a part of Chandrayan 2 Mission from ISRO, we never had an idea where our lander was and NASA also can't able to find the missing lander but after three months someone from Chennai found where it was landed and where are the missing parts shattered now.
