a few years ago it was giving the 502 also but it would randomly come back online.

i think the last plunge may have killed it off possibly, i think with the FOMO 2017 spike he would have been paying off people, maybe.

maybe keep trying every so often.

I also checked the site and also getting the same error.

But as for checking through https://www.whois.com/whois/vircurex.com the site will expire on 2020. I guess from the very beginning they are going there despite of expiration date, they decided to shutdown.

I'm getting a 502 on vircurex.com now. I think it's gone.

Checked it and I'm getting the same error

Welp. They seemed dead even before the site was still up and running ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯

If they're gone, much sad for all the ppl who are still waiting to be compensated.

Is vircurex actually still a working exchange? wow not heard about these guys in a while. I had account there and used to arb between them and BTC-e.  The exchange did work pretty good for a while although it did have a dated feel. They ended up holding everyones money with withdraw limits. Lucky for me at the time i had little money in there.

appears their website is very sporadic at best.

daunting to know the balances right now, if any. at least i still have a transaction email form them showing my final balances whether thats worth anything remains to be see.

i read an article about a Kumala person who was apparently involved with the Vircurex exchange.

hi everyone, I've come across an issue with Vircurex.
14.05.17 I've sent 0.06417204 BTC to a Vircurex generated deposit wallet (the transaction fee is 0.0219384 BTC)
The transaction ID 6b82e41ed85f9f68aef454e5a7eff67278e8920aa90beb6107f03b3d3b067283 , for anyone to double-check.

So, since 14 of May, the incoming funds on Vircurex are waiting to be confirmed, however the transaction has been confirmed more then 3700 times by the Blockchain, but nevertheless, my Vircurex account is empty:(
I've been trying to contact Vircurex support via their email ([email protected]) and Skype, but they keep ignoring my requests.

Has anyone had similar issue with them? Does anyone has some advise?
