The number of altcoins is very much at the moment and it is impossible for everyone to know one by one. And then, every person who will invest and choose some coins he chooses then he will do some special research and seek more information about the coin, on average they will only see altcoin in the top one hundred positions and ignore the altcoin position afterwards there is only some suggestions from some friends who already have experience investing in cryptocurrency or suggestions from some experts he believes. You are related to the altcoin that you mentioned. I just got to know you, I don't know more about the new altcoin.

I agree, and I think this is one of the setbacks with cryptocurrency. There's just so many coins that keeps popping out that, while some really do serve a purpose (for a legit project or whatnot), you just can't help but be suspicious because you've never heard of it. I think you nailed it. If OP is interested in investing in this Virie, he better do thorough research as to what it is and who's behind it. I think in this case, that Virie is at a disadvantage for now because if what Luke_Turner said was true, it hasn't been launched yet. That would really make it sound suspicious imo.

Hey guys,
I have seen recently that there is a new crypto called Virie. Do you know anything about it? Is it worth investing in?
Let me know what you think about it.

sorry,, but i just heard about virie from you my friend
so, i don't know about this,,
would you like to give me a link to virie,, maybe an official website or announcement thread please ? so, i can make a research first my friend

I'm not sure it's a new coin like OP said, or maybe I misunderstood it. I did a quick Google search and based on their website, https://virternity.com/virie it's a payment system "designed to become the economic foundation of the shared, mixed reality of the Virternity space". Also, why few people heard about it is because I don't think they've launched it yet. Explains why there's not a lot of content about it yet.
Hey guys, if this may help, I found this blog site that discussed about Virie having it's own Distributed Exchange Network and Escrow system which eliminates the need for a third party brokerage. The creators of this must be big time in my opinion but come to think of it, if indeed what is said in this blog is true, then it could be safer and faster, right?

I remember a friend mentioned it to me and said it's different from the rest because it has it's own Distributed Exchange Network and Escrow system which means that there will be no need for a brokerage. Sounds pretty interesting but I don't think it has already been launched already. Like any new cryptos, study it first before investing but there is no harm in trying as long as you will not invest in big amounts immediately.

Yes, I've read about it from this website : https://virternity.com/virternity
Here's an excerpt from their roadmap https://api.virternity.com/uploads/Virternity%20Roadmap.pdf
"Those who choose to support the project
financially (contributors) will immediately receive
a small piece of the future in the form of virtual
currency.
This currency will have real, inherent value (ie,
easily exchanged for goods and services). More
importantly, it will enable the seamless unification
of the material and virtual worlds."

It is this one https://virternity.com/virie ?

I don t know - i don t see nothing interesting and new in this coin.
What are they principal difference from, let s say, Monero, Btc, Zec (any crypto on the market)?

Video promo of Virie say like one of main selling point - "Wow, so good and nice visual design".
So what? Ok, you spent 1000-2000$ on good designer, that s all.

Also, Virie officially registered on Cayman Island:
"NWP LTD, Cayman Islands, in cooperation with NewWorldProject AG, Switzerland, 2016-2018"

I haven't heard about this coin, are you sure that this isn't yours to advertise and you are just trying to gain exposure for that coin through having a conversation manner?
