The best virtue needed as a newbie is patience and without patience, you will sell your coins in your possession and will not be able to make the best profit out of it. You also need a virtue of willingness to learn, you should be ready to learn new things and also be smart.

There are virtues that would keep you going, most especially for everyone that would want to succeed in this space. Below are some of the virtues needed:
- Patience: Do not be in haste to sell, even when the market is red. Most times, red market indicates a time to buy more and wait for green days.
- Smartness: You need this virtue to know when to sell and when to buy back.
- Boldness: If you are not bold enough, you might not be able to take your stance as regards some firm decisions that need to be made.
- Trust: Lastly, trust the system. Trust cryptocurrency to have a bright future. Know the coins to trust and hold them firmly.
Note: Patience does not make you dump. You should just be able to wait, most especially when you know that a particular coin has good potentials.

If you have patience, you will achieve much.
Personally, I don’t have one, and it's hard for me to live, really.

Short but having those will give you a better way of deciding while the market isn't so good.

Someone who isn't patient enough to wait for the market to rise and is mostly caught by the dips will do the wrong decision of his life. Selling at loss or will do cut loss most of the time. You need to set your own goal and don't be too skeptic about the market is what takes you for you to survive.
The market is unpredictable, and none of us can know exactly the price movement. We can only guess with an accuracy of 95% that the price will go up or down. It's all hard to explain in a few sentences.
In trading, cryptocurrencies, options, Forex, you should always act on your system and not break the rules. It is important to always remember about the fundamental analysis and trading time. For example 3 times a day, for 30 minutes. This is very disciplined for traders and they do not drain their deposits. I write this from my own experience.

Along with that we need to research a lot before taking any action. That will help us in ways as in we won't get caught in scams and it will be easy for us, for we won't really go on loss because of the research. It's all about learning first and then doing some action.

All relevant points indeed. I agree that it's important to research under the picture of trust, blind trust looks bad. Patience is the most lacking point. Picking few of them in list doesn't work because this is one plate that has 4 ingredient which you need to eat all of them.

This are indeed invaluable virtues every cryptocurrency begginer must get acquainted with, ill just add one more virtue which is do not be greedy..

Greed has often has its catastrophic effects on most cryptocurrency users.. Do not assume or merely follow other people's speculations,do your own research..
And never invest more than what you can afford to lose,it could come out good though, but if it doesn't,it could be disastrous

Boldness is an important virtue if you wanna get rich, not easy to do it from playing it safe. You need to keep trading to find those fast gainers, changing from alts to bitcoin and then on these occasions to tether.

I would like to add some, THINK BEFORE YOU ACT will be helpful if you don't want to lose what you can't afford to lose. It is very important to think before you act. In order to make clear decisions you should consider r1s2g3's tip on searching for the project you wanted to invest or hodling, it's up to you what to do once you able to complete your research.

I think the trust part is the most difficult part, at least by your definition: trust and know which coins to hold?
looking at the market in general, that's the biggest issue: many people have no idea what is good to hold and not, at least considering how many shitcoins there are in the top 100!
I think a purge is coming to the market and many of today's coins will be gone, in each category there's 10+ coins doing the same thing (competition, yes) - but all are grossly overvaluated to begin with.
so, how to know which coins to hold?  Shocked

I think these two combine in a basic characteristic a newbie has to have. RESEARCH and EAGERNESS TO LEARN. you really need to do a lot of research not only here but in several forums and papers. You don't like to enter a gave risking the thing you want to have, right?

- Trust: Lastly, trust the system. Trust cryptocurrency to have a bright future. Know the coins to trust and hold them firmly.

Instead of trust , you need to Research, Research about team authenticity , research about feasibility of white paper, research about the market value of product if created, research if the idea is new or not.

Trust on any coin without research is stupidity.

All of those things will be thrown out the window when the markets start to fluctuate. Panic selling and greed will take over and you will become an addict. Just accept that you will make gains and losses, just ensure you cash out at the right time
