Mein Deutsch ist nicht so gut (I am from Holland).

I will visit Berlin for 4 days with my sister (arriving feb. 22), booked apartment in Kreuzberg area with 9flats.com (payed with bitcoin) and now I am looking looking for some bars, clubs or restaurants that accept bitcoin. Already found room77, Floor's cafe and Heidi's Berlin Tours on coinmap.org, but perhaps coinmap is outdated.

Anybody knows any other nice bitcoin-accepting places in Berlin that are not listed on coinmap.org? Other visiting tips are also welcome...

Hi Simon,

look here: https://de.bitcoin.it/wiki/Handel
and here: http://bitcoinkiez.wordpress.com/

I think there are STILL not many opportunities to spend BTC.

UPDATE: Just came back from the trip from Berlin and it was great. First evening we went to Room77, which is the most recognizable by Bitcoin neon sign at its front door. We had some nice hamburgers, tasted some of their beer and whiskeys and shake hand with Jeorg Platzer and Andreas Schildbach. Next morning we had coffee and 'kersenvlaai' at Floor's cafe and in the evening has Snitzels delivered by lieferservice.de. On Friday morning we where picked up from our apartment by Heidi Leyton, who gave us a 5hr (private) guided-tour through different areas in Berlin, which was very interesting and educating. That evening we had delicious dinner at the restaurant called 'The devils kitchen'.

All above was paid for in bitcoin and went pretty well using my blockchain.info wallet on my smart phone, although at 'The devils kitchen' restaurant the waitress had to call her manager to send me an SMS with the bitcoin address. The conversion rates of blockchain.info where used for all the payments except the lieferservice.de that uses bitpay. Bartender at Room77 told us that they get on average approx. 1 person per pay paying in bitcoin and the waitress at Floor's cafe said they get 3 person on average.

We also tried to find the T-shirt shop called 'Cocaine Cowboys' but at the address from coinmap.org we found a post-office and the lady told us the T-shirt shop was gone. Another place from coinmap.org called "FM Group Parfüm Handel" appears to be a wholesale supplier which is not an actual shop. So I was not able to buy any souvenirs with bitcoin. Must say I saw quite some beggars in Berlin and I did give paper wallets (0.001BTC) to a street musician and a lady who sold a local street paper (motz) and 0.05BTC to a guy begging in the metro which he hopefully doesn't throw away. None of them had heard about Bitcoin before, but a younger girl that we asked for directions to the "watergate" club knew about Bitcoin. And surprisingly a random (dutch) guy we spoke in the watergate-club told us that had bought a Mercedes car with his bitcoin profits!

Conclusion: Bitcoin adoption in real-world-shops in Berlin is still small, but the feeling being a Bitcoin-pioneer makes up a lot.
