I'm confused, doesn't the blockchain.info/tree already follow the path of a coin? I thought you could click on any spent output to find all the addresses it was sent to and follow it all the way to its final unspent locations. It's probably a long shot, but someone made something pretty cool a while back. I don't remember the name or url, but I think it was in a thread about coin taint. Oh, man, no idea how to find it. I'm not sure it does what you want either, but it displayed a pretty nice clickable wobbly graph of some sort of abstraction on the transactions (money flow?, I'm not sure). I remember being impressed.
