MY RED TRUST LEFT BY SCUMBAGS - READ MY SIG
But if the POS system is still as it was originally planned then that is an not at all looking like a good thing for small to average eth holders

I liked the older pos systems where everyone with a few tokens/coins had opportunity to stake.

Then again things could have changed since the original pos proposal

I'm pleased to read that ethereum is on its way. I think that will bring ethereum forward. As long as they do everything right, it'll be the next push for ethereum. At least that's what i think.

Good news for ethereum enthusiasts, that's for sure. PoS is a big upgrade for the whole network, more efficient than other altcoins. But I'm closely following the plasma project. If this happens to be what they really claim, it will turn the tables.

The main theme of a recent interview with Vitalik Buterin the peculiarities of the functioning of the Ethereum Foundation. The Ethereum founder was asked to name the "biggest" changes that have occurred in the development team over the past 15 months.

The topic of the interview did not arise from scratch — Buterin himself previously published a post on Twitter. In it, he said that the Ethereum Foundation has gone through a series of very important changes over the past 15 months. Prior to that, Vitalik also noted that the organization could easily exist even without his further intervention.

In response to questions, Buterin cited the four most important areas of work of the Ethereum Foundation. According to him, the difference between the past and the present of the organization is obvious.

More than four new network upgrades will soon reach implementation.

A sidechained on the basis of a ZK-SNARK is in the process of learning. This is a huge difference with what we had in 2017.
In recent months, several teams have been working on Ethereum 2.0: Sigma Prime, Prysmatic Labs, Rocket Pool, Status and PegaSys. All of them are working in the same direction, as outlined by the members of the Ethereum Foundation.
A couple of days ago, Prysmatic Labs announced the release of a demo version of the sharding client Prysm v0.0.0. The Sigma Prime project was released last month and already has excellent development progress accumulated over the past two weeks.

Ethereum community also is preparing for the hard forks of Constantinople, the testing which must take place before the conference Ethereum Devcon 4. Earlier, this process was postponed for five days due to bugs found in the code.
