The concept is simple - report public safety concerns, earn tokens.

Here's the background:
Maintaining public safety is becoming an increasingly complex task, whether this takes place within venues holding tens of thousands of visitors, day-to-day provision of public services and facilities, or the response to a terrorist attack.

Whatever the context, when it comes to public safety the most valuable untapped sensor network is provided by the crowd itself. Movements like "If you see something … Say something” are great. But how many of us in a crowd of thousands have the means to do so? Quickly? Anonymously? Who do you tell? Where is the Security personnel? What is your incentive to go out of your way?

Putting this into practice requires a means to crowdsource actionable information about ongoing situations in real time, incentivizing and rewarding contributors for their participation with utility tokens, powered by the Ethereum blockchain. The applications of such an approach are extremely diverse, from timely maintenance of public and corporate facilities through to mitigating the impact of an unfolding terrorist attack or informing the delivery of public services within smart cities.

Vizsafe has designed and deployed the first Geoaware visual communication platform for facility security, safety and maintenance. The Vizsafe platform leverages existing facility infrastructure without requiring changes to hardware, software or existing workflows. Utilizing this platform, Vizsafe is building an ecosystem designed to protect facilities by providing a common, intuitive platform for all stakeholders in the facility – facility owners, security teams, first responders, maintenance providers and fans – with tools and incentives.

“Vizsafe has proven to improve multi-jurisdictional communications and serves as a powerful security and public safety force multiplier... ” -Mark Briggs, Gillette Stadium Head of Security, recognized by the NFL as the Gold Standard for stadium safety and security.
