I use Team viewer and it's working like a champ.
Just download it and create an account then add your device as allowed entry.
Working stable on my 1060 mining and doesn't affect mining hash rates at all.

Why not RDP if this is a Windows based rig?
Try chrome remote desktop works best for me, or TeamViewer is not bad also

I have managed to get a nice 24hr stable OC on my 1070 rig but if I connect using VNC then is artefacts or worse.
Is there a better less intensive monitoring software that I can use afterburner with?
Thinking of giving teamviewer a shot.
