I haven't seen any too that's why SMF shall remain the way it is.

I think the voiced feature is mainly used for your direct contact, this is a forum and this is the standard of most forums.

Though i love this to happen because.imagine we can simply talk to one another regarding matters?

But the problem is the essence of posting will be gone so what would be the purpose of this forum?when there are.many.social media sites that can offer same?

Anyway if this will happen?for sure limited only for some forum members.

hey guys do you think its possible or even a good idea to add voice messaging to bitcoin talk forum?
for those people who are more comfortable using voice messages and hearing other ppl out and they rather convey their thoughts through speaking.
but then again i have never seen voice messaging on forums and im not very well informed on how it works, just thought that it would be really cool and i would use it.
but im thinking how it would affect activity and posts and maybe it does not seem like a very feasible idea idk, what are your thoughts?

good idea, although it would just lessen the thought that it is a forum. but overall, if it is only added as an option, then might as well let's go for it. i mean if a certain person can express his/her self better through voice messaging, at least we have the option.

And maybe with feature to auto change or disguise the voice without making it hard to understand? (I kind of feel that automatically or manually disguising/blurring one's  audio, writeup, video etc would be important in privacy/anonymity focused cryptocurrency world or decentralized system. Imagine  tipping/rewarding people on a decentralized network to quickly rewrite your writeup without losing its original meaning)

Well, not sure if the voice message is very necessary in anonymous forum if privacy and safety is not sure.

Good idea at some point but it's not going to fit with the kind of discussion here. The goodness with written thread is that so easy to recall every topic that you wished to review.

I don't find that voice messages is a good idea.
We have members in the bitcointalk community all other the world and everyone has a different accent. Having said that, this is going to decrease the communication between us. Letters and words make it clearer to understand what others want to say.

I don't like this idea, many people in this forum is want privacy and stay anonymous. If this feature has been implemented on bitcointalk, maybe only close-friend they use this feature.

There's Discord mainly for this. No need to make things complicated by adding unnecessary fluffs.

I don't think that will ever be made...
This is a Bitcoin forum and not an ordinary public forum that discusses general matters and after all, voicemail is usually only available on social media, if asked for needs it seems like the members here don't need it.
