I would have been more than happy to accept escrow. I didn't want the trade linked with my username which is why I used another Roll Eyes

Your post history of that account disagrees with that statement, at least the part about you being happy to accept escrow:
One more thing: I don't need escrow, but you go first. If you cannot grasp that key concept, don't offer. Cheesy

I think it is safe to say that you did not want that trade linked to your username considering the obvious scam attempt.

User Vortex20000 is an alt of the PayPal scammer Daylightx.

Vortex20000 has the address 1KQwwWfuATJZogLTk9nmPNyY4egS1PUvqY in his profile (archive), and Daylightx posted the address 18EQtwoJ9Xdg7YDfzbhhCt5GXrXjUP5XDk here (archive - reply #13). The post where Daylightx posted the above address was last edited September 27, 2014, 07:17:43 AM and the first transaction to the above address was September 27, 2014, 10:38:26 PM.

Both 1KQwwWfuATJZogLTk9nmPNyY4egS1PUvqY and had signed several transactions together:

Daylightx had attempted to steal PayPal funds when he created this thread (archive), saying that he does not need escrow, but he is not willing to send first (mind you that Daylightx was a newbie whose account was less then a month old at the time).
