I honestly haven't encountered many communities/places in the cryptocurrency community over the last decade that weren't filled with mega scammers and shills.  Vosk's YouTube channel and Discord server are actually one of those that haven't been.  I've tested him a few times in there and he's always responded with the right answer and I've seen him turn down taking advantage of dumb fanboys on multiple occasions and he appears to have a conscience.
I don't doubt anything you've written, nor have I seen any evidence of Voskcoin trying to scam anyone in his videos.  The stuff he shills I don't use, so I can't even say he's vouching for shitty products.  I just can't stand his videos, because he comes off as a braggart (especially in the titles of his vids, like this one, this one, and others).  There's something about his whole "I make so much money doing X" that really bothers me, and his smarmy tone of voice probably contributes to that.

Nevertheless, I do agree OP's claim is a false one until proven otherwise and this whole thread should probably be in the Reputation section rather than Scam Accusations.

There was discussion about this some 1-2 years ago, a discussion he also participated on. One (sub)topic was also that some of his posts got removed.
He was not aware of the rules (no comment  Grin), but after that discussion his shilling was somewhat closer to staying within the boundaries of the forum rules.
From that point on I don't find him so much annoying as he was in the past. Of course, he's shilling his own youtube business, but now he's also somewhat more informative (or he was last time I've checked)

And if he miss-steps again, it's easy to report his topic(s) to get removed. You'll catch his attention with that, I'm sure.

To boldly go where no rabbit has gone before...
I've watched some of his video, and I'm indifferent towards him. Neither good or bad.
Does he shill? Yes

But so do most influencers.

I don't know what miner/coin video you watched that pissed you off but that's 90% of the time what it is when someone is mad at Vosk.  They watch a video about the hot new miner/coin and are mad they already missed the boat.

Maybe people don't like that he's doing paid sponsorships.  That's fine, and that's not what the OP was saying, and there's points that could be debated there with *any* channel that does such promotions etc.  He always tells you it's a paid promotion (hell, even YouTube tells you it's a paid promotion in the video in the bottom corner of the player).  That's quite different from calling him a mega scammer / shitcoin shill.  He even sometimes gives pretty cold "paid" reviews to some of these BSC startup coins for example where he's like "yeah this one is by a fully anonymous team so I'm only going to do 1 bnb for fun and not worry about it".

OP obviously has zero evidence of any scamming or anything he's saying and is spewing absolutely baseless nonsense.  I've not seen or heard of any such scamming and neither has anyone else.  If someone is actually apparently trying to not be evil then we're going to need to see some evidence on that one and I don't see any.

I'm actually glad this thread got bumped, as I hadn't seen it before and I've been watching a lot of Youtube videos about mining lately and Voskcoin's channel is one that frequently pops up in my searches.  I can't say I particularly care for his style of delivery (though I have to say that there are one or two other popular mining Youtubers who are way more annoying), but some of his content is informative to non-miners such as myself.

That said, being paid to promote products (or getting said products for free) kind of gives a person a biased slant when it comes time to review them, and I definitely take everything I see and hear on his and other channels with big grains of salt.  It's unfortunate that smaller miners either don't make videos or they don't show up in the search results--like Philipma1957's.

All I see when I search for crypto mining vids on Youtube are thumbnails with whiteboy faces typically with a [shocked/confused/angry] look on their faces or with their hand covering it to convey an attitude of [dismay/disappointment/whatever].  Youtubers nowadays all follow the same script, and it's fucking annoying.

Voskcoin is a clickbait youtubber con artist. He constantly promotes scam coins and scam apps that pay him money. This guy is not to be trusted. He only cares about money and doesn't care about the crypto community. This guy is toxic.

Thanks for sharing our YouTube channel! Sorry, you don't like us.

Yes, some videos on our YouTube channel are sponsored, just like every other full-time YouTube channel. We have tons of sponsor free content as well, we work hard to create the best video content that we can.

VoskCoin even has full-time employees now, personally, I think it's incredible I'm able to offer full-time jobs to people who want to work in the crypto space full-time. It's one of the places that sponsorship money goes!

But hey, guess you feel better calling VoskCoin a scam on Bitcointalk lol -_-

We wouldn't have made it this far if we were scammers, we've made a couple of mistakes along the way and address them every time. I'm learning every day, just like you would be if you watched our channel!  Grin

PS at least use your real account instead of hiding behind a fake smurf acct w/ 2 posts.

It's not really new.

We all know all influences will have some agreement when they are reviewing a non-popular coins/token, mostly for a new token/coin and they review it could be a paid video. Scam it's not moderated, everyone respobility for their self about investment and other things.

But, one thing I also sometimes was really pitty when he still makes a video about some scam coins/token. I already posted and suggested to not create any video about a coin/token who already discover as a scam, but seem like he doesn't have any high activity to respond each of post on his thread.

So, just created a thread and included his video link to get a view for him.

Voskcoin is toxic and only cares about money, but OP cares only about technology and he registered new account here just to post this Smiley
Oh please...nobody forces you to watch any youtuber and I would not call Vosk a toxic scammer.

Good thing that you posted a thread about shilling. Now the best thing that you can do is to ignore this Youtuber, if he does not get your views then he will not earn from it, it does not matter that he is shilling or scamming on his videos, if you watch their videos then you already gave him money. The best weapon against shills who promote crapcoins is by ignoring them, they will soon fade out because no one cares about them anymore.

I'd agree if he's shill because most of all his thread created always include his youtube channel video [1]

But I wouldn't say if he's a scammer since there's no proof I've seen he's scamming anyone or created clickbait video. Yes he get paid to promoting scam exchange or coin in some video, but it's not that bad since he's already divide many chapters/timestamp in his video. So you could just skipping on promotion/sponsor to another chapter.

Moreover he's giving disclaimer in each videos and you shouldn't rely on an article, channel, or professional/speculators.
