3k to #1 sophisticated but a bit boring
2k to #2 so bold that it is too bold
blend them. you can utilize objects from both. specs needs to be easy to find right quick. (neither layout has that)
#1 (has better title bars and less offensive gifs)but comes across a bit ehhh boring
#2 (has better logo&intro and the brighter gifs)but too big and bright to have every title bar so bold

yes, version 2, but smaller. in fact, even the large graphics were preferable to the design shown on #1 so... as stated, my vote was cost accordingly.
