Does this method work in the US?
The reason I ask is that I found a couple other methods that use Android Apps to get a VCC but because the phone is registered to a US carrier it will not let me create a VCC. I've tried VPNs and Proxies on the phone but no go.

I am interested in knowing this too. Is the VCC working for all countries? I know of a Russian one but you can only use in Russian stores if you dont verify your account with documents.

As for Google Cloud, I say give me proof that its not working.
