By cheap I mean really really cheap by Indian standards.

If it's vacant land, I am looking for below 50k per kottah (720 sqft)

Will purchase at max 2 -3 kottah (~1500 sqft)

If it's a house / hut / dwelling post your offers.



Always wanted a farm house this is how I start. Please no extravagant exotic offers. Individual sellers / property owners would be given preference. Places near kolkata would be given preference. Open to offers from 'snowy' hill stations and snow capped himalayan villages.

Must haves : Water, Electricity, Hospital, Road & Railways Connectivity, Internet.

Most importantly, will give very high preference to anyone who offers multi year private finance. Yes this is a small amount of money, yes I am asking for private finance.

First I thought you were offering 50k rent for 720 sq feets. Don't have anything to sell but I can offer 3276 sq feet of land for 8K/month in Delhi.

Which all areas did you bought the land? How much sq ft and @ what price?  Are you still holding them and what are your plans with such land. Planning for just investment purpose or creating some education school etc

Bought around April last year. Agricultural land within Kolkata Municipal area, basically on outskirts of Kolkata. Last year I bought at 52k per katha (which is around 720sqft) Sold it this year for a considerable profit margin. Cannot disclose the total area.
This year I am looking for similar rates if not lower.
I am not a developer or a filthy rich guy, just A GUY buying & reselling land, no development in mind. Have bought numerous small plots (1 - 2 katha) at these rates and some even cheaper, for personal use.

Bumping this thread.
I am still looking for this. Recently (in jan 2017) I converted all of my cheap land assets I bought when I first started this thread.

I want more now.If anyone has any info. Kindly get in touch. I will be making my investments by August 2017 if you are seeing this post after this time period then I am probably not buying anymore.

I am looking for really cheap lands where the prospect of development is high in the next 5 - 6 years.

You can buy 1000 sqft of land or more for your budget in my state but I dont think you would want to move to Madhya Pradesh

Oh we have such places in bengal as well. But The requirements are simple, electricity, water, connectivity and internet. If you have a place where these are available, then you already have my number. The good thing about buying such cheap land is, I can buy as much as I want and the more diverse location, the better.

Do you realize I am looking for a farm house? Do you realize I am looking to BUY a freehold land?  BUYING is not equal to rent / lease.

The idea of a country house is to get away from people :p
Wanna be my neighbor then you can find a place to live near me in the city itself haha
