Long time inactivity of an account regardless of the rank this time doesn't mean it a scam attempt by default when they are trying to offer something, i so much believe that it's better to remain mute when you got nothing to offer than causing nuisance by posting shits and spam, there could be many reasons for being inactive for a long time, what we should look into in this kind of situation is the reason behind going inactive for that long, if it's personal then there's no problem, one needs to check if the account had not been tagged negative for scam in the past, if all these terms were fulfilled, there's no need to worry, they are free to take in any offer they wanted to present to the community as long as it's not a scam.

saruc woke up from a long period of inactivity and opened a Hiring discord mods! with good salary $150/week.

Be careful. It's scam.
Looks like it was some kind of phishing scam like ryzaadit reported, but I don't understand how they can hack discord accounts like this unless he clicked something.
I would suggest everyone to be careful with discord and telegram, clicking any links and entering their login details.

The scam accusation thread is inconclusive IMO as ryzaadit cannot prove saruc was the hacker, but it does seem likely it could be the case.
I don't know how often he uses discord, but I heard there was cases of account getting hacked in similar way, and it's strange coincidence that he just joined this ''moderator job'' offer.

So I woke up from a long time since I was on a vacation I am already a scammer? It's not about the account or something but scamming is intentional. I've seen lots of people who are high ranks who are already inactive due to accusations related to their accounts. It's their choice to begin with not ours, and the consequences are theirs, it's up to them how they will handle it, it's not as if other veteran members here will tolerate those kinds of behaviour.
It doesn't automatically make you a scammer if you are inactive for a long period of time and come back, but I think you definitely open yourself up to questions and should be prepared to sign a message or something form an address you used on the forum in the previous year when you were active. At least that way it shows you likely are the original owner of the account.

@ryzaadit preceded you by creating this topic  [SCAM] Hiring Discord Moderator from @Saru and giving more detailed information, which caused @saruc to get 2 negative trust ratings.

You can follow the rest of the discussion with that topic, as this topic should be moved to Scam Accusations board, but due to the existence of a previous topic on the same case, it will be locked.

'Life's but a walking shadow'!
Be careful with newbie accounts want to hire you. Be more careful with woke-up newbie want to hire you.
Users with high ranks on the forum can also scam you, there have been cases previously were users with a high rank either defaulted on a loan, or used donated funds for private purposes, etc, so basically don't trust (irrespective of ranks), but verify.

Business brands who launch signature campaigns on the forum start with brand new accounts, then they hire signature campaign managers that launch their campaigns, whilst they mostly write the Ann thread themselves. There's nothing wrong if a newbie account wants to hire you, just don't trust by clicking random links, or throwing away your privacy, just be open and professional about it all; and if they are scammers, it wouldn't take you long to notice.

Looking at the quote he's saying possibly and probably which mean he's not even sure if saruc was a hacker or not, that's still an assumptions. It's his fault to click random link, but there's no way to verify it.

The @OP account have been painted by him, even though I don't think the negative feedback is correctly used because there's no solid proof about losing money.

Anyway why this thread posted in Meta? move to scam accusations/reputation.

Waking up from long period of inactivity doesn't mean this is scam. Also, ryzaadit can't 100% confirm that they have been hacked by saruc. Isn't it possible that someone else hacked his account? Contacting with saruc before he got hacked maybe a coincidence.

Be careful with newbie accounts want to hire you. Be more careful with woke-up newbie want to hire you.
Everyone joins here with a brand new rank. Some joins for business. They don't need the rank. This is a weird logic.

Hi everyone!

I just want to give you an update, possibly this discord hiring is a scam one-two days before my discord account was hacked. I was in touch and in contact with the @OP, but after that, my account discord got hacked.

During the hack, @OP deleted the all-conversation and kicked me out of the discord group he was for the hiring. My last activity for connecting any link is with him, probably the bot verified mee6 group was fake.

@OP looking someone who are working in discord mod. My suggestion, don't apply or click any link from @OP
