Hey short answer is no, by the way which exchange asked you this information?. I would recommend you electrum wallet, and not to make a wallet on exchange. If you see exchanges history there're lots of hacking issues, plus you're not in control of your keys and they can shut you out. If you're planning to buy a huge quantity then use a trezor wallet, if you're planning to buy today and forget it for many years then even paper wallet works fine, however my top recommendations is Electrum wallet only.

If you get wis to go for a exchange then opt for coin base had positive experiences with them, but now I don't use them.

bitcointalk status don't have any relation in making your own crypto wallet. a wallet is intended only for crytocurrency trading or any other transaction such as sending and receiving. On the other hand, in Bitcointalk, it is a community where in you can learn about lots of information, discussions, guide, opportunities, off topics and other cool kinds of stuff inside and outside cryptoworld. I wouldn't advise you to use a wallet exchange for keeping XRP or any coin that you have. Buy your own hardware wallet (Ledger Nano S).

Hello Ridaa. This forum and Exchanges are a different business, that's why you don't need a specific rank or merit. But this question says you are totally lost in the cryptos world. So let me guide you for your first steps.

1.-To buy bitcoins you can open an account in https://www.localbitcoins.com and use the best payment method for you.

2.-Then get a wallet, that way you can send your btc to your own bitcoin addy. Remember, in a wallet you can have multiple bitcoin addys, and each addy can be in multiple wallets. I know, is a little confusing, but think about it and you will find the logic. You can get a free online wallet here https://www.blockchain.com/wallet

3.-If you want to use your bitcoins to buy other coins, you can use a service like https://www.shapeshift.io, those guys make it easy for all, you don't need to create an account, only send the btc to the addy they give you and you will receive the coins on your altcoin addy.

You don't need ranks just to make your own wallet. But instead, you better prepare complete details including ID's and personal information if you would like to enter crypto exchange. They will ask your KYC (Know Your Customer). Once you have your crypto wallet like myetherwallet, you have to research also how to manage your account in exchange. Tutorials in Youtube may help you with that.

Aside from that, you should never use an exchange as a wallet, just use it for trading purposes and withdraw to your personal wallet. I suggest using Electrum for that purpose.
