Coinomi Android wallet has many currencies.

Exodus has many.

Jaxx has many.

But it's a freaking problem.

To the point, where holding your coins on 10 different exchanges spread out equally is (might be) a reasonable strategy.

Managing 100 private keys and bakcups = pain.

Hello,

Not sure if this topic was discussed, but I want to begin investing into cryptocurrencies and I was thinking about buying 100 different cryptocurrencies with very low price. For this I am looking for a wallet that accepts all this kind of currencies and also a platform with incorporated support to monitor the evolution of that many currencies.
I have searched this but with not great results. Most platforms support only the 5-10 main cryptocurrencies, also the wallets I have found are or for the main cryptocurrencies or a little shady.
Any tips about this kind of investing and names of wallets/platforms that supports this ?

Thank you in advance
You could do an ICO which means Initial Coin Offerings, where crypto startups sell their tokens/coins to the community. The community pays with crypto like bitcoin or ethereum and hopes the worth of the token/coin increases. The startup gains the money worth of the crypto

Well, you should have a different wallet for each coin.

Nowadays most of the coins are ERC20 tokens, so you could send all the tokens to the same ETH wallet and you'll have everything there.
Exactly. ETH-wallet is used basic. And a few extra wallets for unsupported ETH currencies.

So I guess you better get use to the idea of having multiple wallets,
for those 100 coins.
Because there won't be one size fits all type of solution any time soon.
Using each coin's own wallet is the way to go.

Multy wallet is not so good, I suggest you to download all wallet to your pc. If you buy ETH token then you can use myetherwallet or other which support erc20. I personally like to use single wallet because it safer and works better.  There are many ICO which sell token in low price most of them use ETH platform so you can use Myetherwallet. Determining the good project is not so easy need time to read Whitepaper. It will very tiring.

Check out Coinomi for btc, bch and coins like that.
Most coins, are ERC20 tokens. So, in this case, you can use Eidoo,Enjin,ImToken. All work great.

My candid advice for you is not to rush into investing rather take your time and scrutinize any project you wish to invest in and also check out the DEV team and also the white paper and with that you are good to go

If they are all ERC20 Tokens use Eidoo wallet. Eidoo can accommodate all. I mean all.

I tried using coins bank almost all of the alternative coins i have bought were store in there, no encountered problems regarding except for the usual high rate of transaction fees which is common to all of us because transaction fee in sending to external wallet are really high and took time to be confirmed.

High fees = low BTC price
You have got to separate coins from the network like ETH has done to some extent
but EVO have done it better

mixing the two is nothing but trouble not that I think we need don't more any more than four or five types of coins long term
and we are already ready for a blowout

speculation has replaced logic and is getting us into a right mess

Unless you use an online exchange, the closest you could get to something like that right now would be a an ethereum wallet with a bunch of ERC20 tokens in it or an NXT wallet with just NXT tokens.

The only platfrom that i can think on top off my mind, is poloniex, poloniex is an exchange platform used mainly buy traders due to how many cryptocurrencies it holds and the ability to exchange between diffrent coins easily and with less fees, i know most poeple here will tell you never keep your coins on exchange and they have a point, but poloniex is well known for its security, the customer's deposite is stored offline, and the funds that you put into exchange are only used to facilitate trading.

For that many coins you wanna held, I think it's safer to consider choosing a wallet that have high protection protocol such as private key or 2FA authorization, or better if you have a hardware wallet. But in my opinion, it's better that you invest on a lil' type on alts rather than buying a lot of alts and hodl it for a long time.

There is not such wallet that can store all your coins in one. Although has Loyce mentioned Coinomi is a great wallet to store your coins even it doesn't include everything. Since you want to invest in 100 different Cryptos, most of them will be ERC20 Tokens. So you can store them in Myetherwallet (MEW). Its not exactly a wallet but just a Ether address and a private key. And ERC20 Tokens can be stored in the Ethereum address. Thats the safest way. Just youtube it and learn how to use it. Furthermore you can import the the private keys to Metamask Chrome extensions for ease of access. Again youtube.

If you want to hold you coins for a long term then buy a hardware wallet (Trezor or ledger nano S). Again you can store your ERC20 Token in it. Along with most of the coins. Avoid keeping you coins in exchanges. As you don't get access to your private key you don't have full control over your coins. Also they might disappear due to some bug in the system and the support will take forever to fix your issue.

I don't think you can make it with a single wallet because there is no wallets yet to support all the crypto currencies at once. But there are many wallets which supports multi coins but not all.So there is only option is that you can store them in an exchange but it is not secured. You can make the security of the exchange wallet better by adding 2FA and IP authorization it may stop intruders from accessing your wallets. But there is possibility of shut down the exchange site at any time.So it is better to choose each wallets for all the coins.

First you must get a portfolio of cryptocurrencies and then continue with the other steps prior to buying cryptocurrencies. Join an exchange later. Now that you already have a portfolio, you still have to join an exchange because that is where you are going to make your transactions. There are many exchanges, such as Coinbase, HitBTC, Bitfinex, Bittrex, BitstamP, etc.

when you're talking about low price crypto, they usually are coins with low trade volume
if that coin have low trade volume, most exchanges and wallets most likely will not support it
why? because they see low trade volume = not profitable coin,
maintaining low volume coin wallet will cost them more than the profit generated from its daily trading
try yobit, I think that exchange has many low price coins listed for trade

Not many wallets support hundreds of different currencies, I'd suggest opening an account on an exchange such as bittrex, binance or poloneix. These tend to support far more cryptos than even the best wallets.
I think storing crypto currencies on an exchange platform is not secure and you may lose your valuable holdings. But if OP has the intention of selling all his currencies in short term then keep it in an exchange wallet.
Or you could get a hardware wallet such as Trezor which has good support for a bunch of cryptos.
Trezor is not also a good option because it is not supporting all the crypto currencies,so it is better to search wallets for the each coins and store them individually for ultimate protection.

There are some wallets that supports many different kinds of Coins/Tokens. But, I personally would prefer to use their own wallets if different coins/token for more security and you're the one who is holding your own PRIVATE KEY = more safer than mobile and online wallets from different exchanges or what.

Android wallet Coinomi supports many coins. But, it's closed source, and keeping all your coins in a hot wallet for long term is bad practice.

For secure storage, you shouldn't rely on just one wallet that covers all, you should research all coins individually, and choose the best wallet for each coin. I prefer to keep each wallet in it's own VM.
Research, installation, backup and funding is quite a lot of work per coin. But, it also prevents you from just buying 100 random coins without having any idea what you're getting into.
You could make it a goal to buy 2 coins per week. That also means you'll have to research more than that, as you shouldn't just buy any random coin. This way, you'll buy 100 coins over the course of this year. If you're seriously going to do this, I would be very interested if you keep track of all your coins in a (self moderated) topic on this forum.
