Primecoin,
doesnt come up at any of the regular calculators, but its one of a kind, i like it, personally i think it is or will be one of the good ones... No Gpu mining, no asic, and prob no chance of it ever getting there...

Anyone know where I can get a set of crypto icons for all the major currencies?

http://www.coinwarz.com/

http://poolwarz.com/

Thats where i got mine for screenshot thingys... small images, but pngs so should have transparent background...
For anything bigger my guess would be to go to individual websites?

I like the idea of showing the coins like that. I'll post an update to my code Monday.

The hardest part of supporting all the coins is the process of creating the keys. Each coin uses a different alg. I'll streamline and initially release supporting the top 10 or so coins.

How im seeing it now after reading your post and giving it a few minutes to simmer =)

Open wallet manager, shows all added clients.

Click, shows wallet (maybe memory of last seen? idk how programming works Smiley
and shows like you said, maybe exchange rate/ currency / graph.

Either way, again, keep up the good work!

Nice. Actually i just made a post asking about this. Guess i wasnt the only one, and definately not the first one.  (click on signarture link to see post)

Personally i think its awesome! Much needed in crypto world. Some things to consider :

Not sure if all wallets can be added already or if you have to code your wallet boss for each wallet individually? If so, might be very difficult to keep up with new coins emerging and dissapearing on a daily basis.

Maybe simplify for now? as i'm saying in my post. It would be enough for me to have a program that links to all the clients. basically it would be some sort of shortcut
handler... that opens up wallets as i click on m. This will make it also easier to add new wallets to the Boss if for instance i decide today i wanna go after batcoins. Kust point the boss to my new found batcoin-qt and done!
Also I think it would need a lot of trust within the community to let one program tinker with all the ins and outs of a wallet. It would be like giving you control of all my digital money, i would be sceptical to say the least.... Smiley

Also, constuctive critisism? (is that spelled right? =)) I'm a person of the now. Which means i like to be visualized and like to click. Like i click on my litecoin icon and it opens / or goes to my litecoin wallet. Don't like to read to much Smiley sorry just being honest. Smiley I reasonably skilled with gimp, if you'd need anything visual i'll be glad to help.

In my head at least i saw it more like an app that manages wallets instead of an actual wallet that holds all currency's. Think that would be something for the future/ near future when people have gotten used to it. Start small, build on that. However, seeing that your already pretty far ahead in your programming, kudo's there, i could also argue you to make something super awesome and hope it sticks.

Whatever the case, ill be sure to follow you, see what comes out, and will definately donate if its something ill use. (keep in mind i prob wont be your main benificiary since ive just been mining for a month at 400kh/s Cheesy

Anyway, Keep it up, Nice Work!

p.s. On app-mode also, would definitely like to see exchange monitor with the 3-4 mayor sites.

I've seen a ton of post come up about a wallet that can handle all coins, but nobody is producing any results. Here is a short demo video of my upcoming project. In this video you can see the creation of both Bitcoin and Litecoin addresses.

Request payments by SMS(free), Email and QR Code.
Send Payments
Handle Private Keys
Encrypt Wallet or just certain keys
Destroy addresses (Will confirm and then ask if you want any balance swept to a new or existing address)

Some features that aren't demoed but will be there are

Cloud backup (to your own Google Drive, DropBox, FTP, etc)
QR Code Scanner through webcam.
Exchange rate monitor and alerts.

You can view the short demo here.: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wz_YYcE0B4E

I'll eventually throw this on github.

Your comments and suggestions are welcome.

Donations also accepted and appreciated :-)
