-  First, what do you mean your trust wallet crashed? Do you mean that your trust wallet address was hacked, and because of this, everything that was paid to you at the address you gave is in the trust wallet, so even the funds you got from the signature have been lost?
No, he means that the application does no longer run on his phone. He can't open it to get access to his coins. Since OP lost his seed phrase and/or doesn't remember where he put it, he won't be able to move his crypto until either the app becomes functional again or he finds a copy of the lost seed. Nothing was hacked or stolen from his wallet. OP said his signature payments are lost, but that's just because he has no means to access his wallet at the moment.

My trust wallet app crashed  and that led to funds of my signature payment lost (initial wallet). I could not locate my phrase as I can not find it  where I kept it. It is very devastating as I do not know what to do now. I have searched and searched for it but not being able to find it. This is my hope this period for the time being as I have lots of things to clear. Can anybody advise me on what to do to restore my wallet.

Your opinions are welcomed.

If you don't even remember where you put your seed phrase, I think it's very impossible to recover it, but if you remember where you hid it and you didn't get hacked even if there was a problem with the apps, you'll recover it for sure it's still

These kind of things happen when you update the app that is running on the device - sometimes, that can cause crashes.
This has happened to me before when I upgraded to the lastest version of an app, but my phone at the time support OS upgrade to the next version which was what I did and it loaded the app successfully.

What really happens when you try to login, does it open and crash immediately? Or did the app disappear completely from your phone? If so try running it from the app files or restart your device. Have you checked your wallet address on explorer to know if your funds are intact? Just to be sure your phone didn't get a malware attack. Sorry about the incident, if the keys are written on a paper it'll be hard to find it, do you recall accessing your wallet with another phone? It can be of help accessing your wallet again with that other phone. The problem is mainly from your OS it may no longer be compatible with the app, that's why an update is always required.

In this particular situation, I do not recommend any brute forcing tools, but a simple spring cleaning for your house and reorganizing everything should make the seed phrase turn up eventually. That is, assuming you did not take it outside (!).

Can anybody advise me on what to do to restore my wallet.

Even if it bad, your best guess is to restore the device on which your wallet "crashed". If you dont have a backup phrase then the device is the only possible place where informations about your coins can be found.

If you cannot locate your phrase that means you forgot where you put it. And I can tell, that you neglected it too dude, why didn't you remember where you put it in a safe place? You know it's important but it seems like you didn't value the phrase you were saying.

And I don't think anyone can give you advice either because you don't remember where you put your seed phrase which in fact will be your only way to restore your wallet, don't you know that?

If you store the phrase properly and correctly then you can find it. But if it's gone and you don't know what happened, then something went wrong with your save. Make sure that you store everything properly, if this kind of problem occurs and the backup phrase is not found then there is nothing you can do but let it go.
The first thing I do when I type create a wallet to accept signature campaign payments is create a new wallet then store the phrases in a safe place and the backups are easily accessible to me. I don't open the wallet app often, I use electrum only for bitcoin payments because it's safer in my opinion.

~snip~ My case I never prepared for it neither did I see it coming. It happened all of a sudden just like it could happen to any other person and i take responsibility without putting blame on anybody for the occurrence.  I will keep searching for it until I find it and I will let you all know here once I see it.
If you do save it then the starch is somewhere in .txt format or you can search with the search feature in all your disk locations.

The only solution is to find where your seed phrase is stored, the support team is likely to be unhelpful for individual device issues.

That should be every beginner's first lesson without going through expensive hands-on experience, even most non-custodial wallets already provide a wizard storing and securing seed phrases the first time they run. It's weird if you ignore that.

I thank you all for your inputs and opinions. You know most occurrence are just lessons to be learnt. Sometimes things happen without your notice and without you prepared for it. Thank you for sharing your experience, everyone can take lessons from your case because many people experience the same case, they don't realize that saving seed phrases is very important. The most important factor that a non-custodial wallet is is full asset control for the person so without storing the seed phrase the wallet has no owner and no one can control the wallet.

I have tried several times writing to trust wallet as they replied me it is beyond what they could comprehend.
Yes, because you have fully control your funds and its beyond their control, closed source custodial wallet or not. This incident wont happen if you have your backup seed save somewhere safe.
This should serve you a lesson, no matter how safe and secured your wallet is if you don't remember where your backup seed is, its the same story.

It is obvious I lost my funds as a result of the trust wallet crash. I have no option now than searching for my phrase.
I have always had sympathy for people who lose their money, no matter how. But I have more sympathy for those who accept responsibility for their actions and don't try to put the blame on other factors like you just did. Trust Wallet didn't lose your coins. You (possibly) lost your coins because you don't know where your seed is. Software and hardware can malfunction that's why it's recommended to have physical backups. If you dropped the phone and smashed its screen, would you also blame Trust Wallet because you can no longer access your wallet? Is it the phone manufacturer's fault that you dropped it and broke the screen?

The seed is the most vital element because it's independent from your wallet. The seed can be imported elsewhere in case of issues with the initial software/hardware. Calm down, get some sleep, and think about where you put your recovery phrase and how you hid it.

Trustwallet is close source and I can not recommend the wallet, but the lost of your coin is not the fault of Trustwallet, it is because you do not backup your seed phrase properly in a safe location that you will not forget. Anything can happen to the wallet or to the wallet device. I remember just some days back that I mistaken deleted one if my wallet, all I relied on was my seed phrase. Your seed phrase or private key is your coin.

Update your wallet and give it a try again, maybe it will work.

If you update the wallet and it does not work, you need your seed phrase to recover your coins.

I've experienced something like this on TrustWallet when I made a withdrawal from KuCoin to TrustWallet but it doesn't appear on the dashboard the balance but when checking in network explorer the balance is still there, it's a traffic jam on TrustWallet but because I have the seed phrase saved then I able to import into Electrum so there is still an alternative to fetch my balance there.

But do you still have access to TrustWallet? There you can see the seed phrases to import into Electrum.

But it's a shame you didn't save well for the seed phrases. Sad

What happens when you're trying to open the wallet again? any errors? Maybe you can try to update your wallet if it's not updated already. If that doesn't help, you should reach out to the support[1] or a post in the forums[2]

My trust wallet app crashed
What you mean by crashed? App out when you enter your password or you delete your wallet files?

Are you sure you have downloaded the latest version? Check it out using Settings > APPs > about. updating it to last verison may solve the problem.

If you deleted the wallet data or it was deleted in some way, stop using that phone because it will reduce the possibility of restoring any files (especially adding new files).

If you remember the password, you will need an expert to recover the wallet file for you. else, the chance is almost non-existent.
