this option to turn off fees would be good on multibit

Not when many people don't understand the effect of it, ie. the transaction could take days or even never get confirmed.

If you don't want to pay the Multibit fee, use Bitcoin Core or maybe Electrum. Electrum doesn't download blockchain - not even headers. The typical _network_ fee is 0.00001 BTC, it's less than a half $-cent. Without adding any fee in the transaction, miners don't have any reason to include your transaction in the blockchain.

Unless you know what you're soon sending without a fee will probably result in your tx never getting confirmed. If you're trying to combine dust from faucets I would suggest not wasting your time - the cost of such and will probably be larger than the amount you're sending.

Believe me it's better to pay the 10k satoshis so there is certainty that your tx will get sealed into the block

You cant send using multibit, but you can send without fee using bitcoin qt. So just use bitcoin-qt then.

I don't want to sound cheap, but I don't have much money, so the fee's seem like a lot to me.

Do you have a lot of dust inputs in your wallet?

I would send the standard fee where possible- if you don't, transactions can take a long time to confirm or may not confirm at all.

Indeed, once I was so angry about myself as I was greedy and the confirmaton didn't get for a long time. As far as I remember it took 4 or 5 days to confirm it

You could avoid the fee with raw transaction, but it is not really recommended as your transaction may take a very very long time to be confirmed.

The fee is actually reasonable, but I get what you mean.

But its something that you have to pay regardless if you want to use someones services.

Not much you can do about.

I'm sorry to sound like a noob, but how do i send bitcoins without a fee on the multibit wallet? I don't want to sound cheap, but I don't have much money, so the fee's seem like a lot to me. Thanks guys!

You cannot change a fee while using a multibit. And I must say 0.0001BTC it isn't  a lot ...

If you want to avoid a fee - use Bitcoin-Core.
