You can probably use BTC-E for this purpose, though watch out for the withdrawal fees if you withdraw often.

NamecoinGUI also supported BTC wallet. It just launches the bitcoin daemon.

Might be easy enough to extend it to support other coins.

Well, whoever does this can sleep well at night knowing they've done a huge contribution to crypto currencies.

I'll probably just do a web-based version of this for myself then, if the interest in this is so small.

This will require a client that is capable of running every chain at the same time. Multiple wallets for a single network, yes, but for different chains, not easily done.

I get that, hence the bounty fund.

If there is enough interest in this, I will set up a fund for this, and anyone who wants can donate to it.
It must be a very huge bounty since you are requesting a drastic change of the standard client, a new client altogether, or an extended version of say Armory.

Is there a wallet out there that can store more than one type of altcoin? And if not, would anyone be willing to help me set up a bounty for anyone that manages to create one for the most used coins? ( LTC, PPC, FRC, TRC etc ).

Having all the balances available in one window would make things sooooooo much easier, especially if you're hoarding several or all of the coins.
