This was resolved on reddit. OP was confusing a testnet wallet with a mainnet one.

Did it work after waiting a few minutes ?

If not, it might be due to some faulty firewall configuration. Did you only swap your PC itself (hardware) or also some network related configurations ?
Which OS are you using ?

If you can verify the funds are sitting on that address (via block explorer), you are fine. It's just a network-/display- issue.

when you run a freshly installed Electrum it needs to first  download the blockchain headers file which is a file about 41 MB. and that can take a while depending on your internet speed and connectivity.
since you said your address is there, my guess is that you have not yet completed your "synchronization" with the network. leave the wallet open for a while and let it finish up.
you can also check how much of it is downloaded here, the file is called blockchain_headers:
C:\Users\{your user name}\AppData\Roaming\Electrum

also you can use a block explorer to see if you actually have any transactions/balance/history in those addresses to make sure they aren't actually empty.

Hello, I switched computers and installed the most up to date version of electrum. I restored the wallet using the seed, and yet when it let me in, there was no history of any kind, and no funds. I have tried switching the networks, with nothing about the issue changing.

When i go to the addresses section, the wallet address is indeed there (first one). The orb on the bottom right is indeed green as well. Lastly, I have tried restoring the wallet on three different occasions on the same machine all to no avail.

Any help with this would be appreciated, as I have money in there. Thank you!
