Your question is not clear, but I think you mean what is the difference between a CoinBase wallet and a CoinBase exchange, if that is the question, the answer is simple: a CoinBase wallet can be used to store your assets and coins, while the CoinBase exchange you can trade there.
you can transfer your coins in a CoinBase  wallet for exchange or keep them in the wallet as you wish.

In Portfolio view of my Coinbase account, the coins purchased are in wallet.
What is the difference b/w this wallet and Coinbase Wallet app.
Coinbase.com is a wallet but a custodial wallet, you do not hold the private key, coinbase do hold the key which means you do not have the full control of the funds on it, you only control it when coinbase allow you to control it, thy can freeze your account in a way you will not be able to use the  coin because you do not habe the private keys to the cryptocurrencies stored on the wallet.

On the other hand, coinbase wallet app have seed phrase, I have used the seed phrase to get private key before, but it can not be shown on the wallet unless you use tools to know the private key. Which means the private key is the BIP39 one that generates private key which unlocks bitcoin stored on blockchain by the owner.if you have the coinbase wallet app means you you will have seed that will generate you private key that makes you to have the full control over any coin stored on the private keys.

Coinbase is both an exchange and a standalone wallet.

When you buy coins on the exchange, they go in to your exchange account's "wallet". These coins are still owned and stored by Coinbase in their central wallets, but are credited to your exchange account. Since these coins are in your exchange account, they can be quickly sold or traded on Coinbase. If you want to withdraw them, you have to place a withdrawal request with Coinbase. Since the coins are stored by Coinbase, you do not own the private keys and therefore do not really own the coins, and Coinbase could lock your account or demand more KYC from you at any time.

The Coinbase wallet app, on the other hand, is a standalone wallet app which is separate from the exchange. It generates a seed phrase for back up and allows you to hold your own private keys. Any coins stored in it are under your control because you control the private keys, but if you want to trade or sell these coins then you will need to first send them from your wallet to an exchange (be that the Coinbase exchange or some other exchange).

I don't get what you mean. What do you mean by "this wallet"? You mean portfolio?
Or you talking about different between the app and web wallet?

Edit :
Doing some research and found this https://wallet.coinbase.com/faq/ . Maybe this can help you find the answer that you need.
