I don't know if anyone has realized this: the fact that WAM only needs 2 confirmations (see "features" above) makes this one of the fastest-clearing coins out there!

People always ask about what it is that sets this coin apart from other Altcoins or what this coin "brings to the table in new features". There is one clear answer: S-P-E-E-D!

If Bitcoin itself is ever to gain anything like mass-acceptance including use at Points of Sale (e g supermarket checkouts, merchant payments in boutiques, e-commerce payments), then the overly LAME confirmation times of Bitcoin will turn out to be a HUGE problem

Teller: "Oh yes, sir, thank you for shopping at Waldbaums, please move out of line so we can wait for your Bitcoin payment to confirm before we let you leave this store!"

Not a problem with Wampumcoin though: you'll be good to go before you even grab your bags. This is a feature not to be underestimated in Wampumcoin. I don't know of any other Crypto coin out there beating WAM's confirmation speed. Even "Fastcoin" (FST) is not nearly one-tenth as fast as Wampumcoin.

I started realizing this when I watched first payments coming in in my WAM wallet. Wasn't sure then whether or not this was usual behavior for WAM, but with more "external" WAM addresses to send coins back and forth between, this works very nicely in all cases I tried.

This additional feature is now more obvious as WAM has been included for exchange trading, and you won't have to wait for your "balance to clear" with this coin. Transactions (BOTH ways!!) are confirmed in less than a second, and you are all set to trade. (With BTC, it usually takes me half an hour or more to finally have six confirmations dripping in...)

  - you want F-A-S-T: use Wampumcoin!
  - you want U-S-A-B-L-E in real life (both online or Bricks-and-Mortar): use Wampumcoin!
  - you want to trade right away: use Wampumcoin!
  - you want to send a payment or transfer an amount in some way: use Wampumcoin!
  
  - uh-wait: don't need ANY of the above? Then why are you using Crypto anyway :)))

I updated the installer and Qt of build 1.1 with new nodes, checkpoints, and the max wampum coin update.  Yes we raised the coin count on wampum just a little bit. In addition, its built with the newer OpenSSL which fixes the "Heartbleed" issue.  Another node is being added, and the current nodes have been updated as said above.  This will fix any synching problems with the networks and wallets from here on out.

so dev launched this coin, didnt update this topic, didnt update his twitter. He want to keep it under the radar or he just doesnt care anymore?
