Maybe I am revealing my age here but I miss the days when a video game was just a cartridge and not something you had to buy a bunch of new computer hardware to play.

These error are not by any means Origins errors. Someone online on EA forum posted this solution:

Finally i found a solution on my system.(win7)
You have to configure your virtual memory settings!
start
 - system control
   - system
     - advanced system settings
       - tab advanced
        - settings
          -advanced
           - change
             - custom size , you have to use at min. the double of your real used memory

You may check if it help you.

So, a memory allocation error? I'd probably check the memory and processor requirements on the game you're playing because some of the most intense games can royally eat up your RAM and processor.

And try pinging the game server and a few other websites you don't normally go to. If you can ping Elfwood.com but not the gaming server, it's probably an issue with the gaming server. If you have trouble pinging several websites including ones you don't normally go to, it might be a problem with your Internet connection.

Maybe your connection has an highspeed broadband but you have packet loss, try to ping the gaming server from a DOS command prompt.
