Well, Bitcoin can't be reversed. Paypal can.
Even if you send Paypal to escrow first, you can always reverse the transaction when you get the BTC.

You are absolutely right PP is reversible but i guess people do trade with PP they just need some information like ID verification or something. not sure though.
