Let's see if this topic is going to be one of those bait topics when suddenly some users start appearing claiming to have some bitcoins to sell at a discount price and trick some newbies into some scams, not for 2000 BTC but for a few thousands of dollars.

How do you plan to pay and what is the right rate for you?

I doubt he intends to pay!  Smiley
An account registered 4 years ago and without a single post, suddenly comes to life which such a bang is either trolling, and that would be preferable or is just laying some bait for a scam.

I am interested in buying a large number of coins (more than 2,000 coins) to hold for the long term. If there is someone interested in selling and at a good price, we can talk about it through MP.
How do you plan to pay and what is the right rate for you? You will not be able to complete this transaction with one user that needs many users, which means wasting a lot of time and a lot of money in transfer fees, which are high on average.
you need to pass KYC for that amount and you can bitcoin using OTC market or any well-know mining place.

I recommend to buy on official exchanges for such amounts or , as a second option, some highly reputable forum member here : the number of scams going on in crypto unfortunately is still way to high to trust random stranger on the internet also for much lower amount than  the one you are planning to buy.

If it was me I would do on exchanges anyway.

I highly doubt you will find someone to sell you such a large amount here. You will mostly find scammers, people here don't even doo 1 btc trades
