I can only suggest you calculate your budget. With a medium budget, you can choose any laptop you want. However, you need to think about what function you want because if you only use the laptop to write or work for the office, you do not have to buy a high specification laptop instead of buying a regular laptop with a low budget. But you can upgrade the RAM so you can work faster.
For gaming I would recommend going with Alienware or Razor Blade, both are laptops for gaming.

You already have a core i7 laptop with a good graphics card. Which games are not running on your laptop ?
I think you should already be able to play most of the games on this laptop. If there is no major issues with your current laptop, I think it's better not to change it.

Just a tip instead of laptop go for gaming PC which can bring you better performance than laptops at any conditions importantly it only cost about 60% of the gaming laptops.
