Okay this is not dead in the water.

I have an s-5+ case from generalt.

I have an s9 controller.
I have fans.

I am awaiting a s9 hash board from bitmainwarranty .

The s-5 case is too short but I can add some to the frame.

I hope to have it built by the 13th or 14th of October.

If it works running a one board s9 at lower fans and lower hash rate would be very nice.

A possible 3500 hash rate pulling 375 watts at the wall with fans at 2600 rpm.

My thouhts are I need a second s5 shell.  It would be too long but I can make it work.

So anyone with a dead s5 I would buy the shell.

I have one S5+ case that you can have.  Well really 1/3 of an S5+ because those hashing boards went bad.

I have 2 complete S5 case, come with heat sink and fan. No PCB or controller.
Shipping from Canada is 30-35$. Make an offer if you don't find S9 / S7 case.

I'm very interested in knowing how this hardware mod turns out. Like the monarch, a single board shouldn't need more than a single fan...a "quiet" little 3200rpm fan if the s7-ln taught us anything.

On a side note, you might be able to have a shop machine you a frame to spec. I've thought of that for making an s7+

I only want the case  of an s9  I don't need any other parts.

My zip is 07731

I would consider  the s7 case or the s5 case

but the s9 is what I really want.

I need 2 empty cases.

I have a mod idea which would allow for a 1 board s9.  Obviously if idea works  I would demo for site.

I know the s7 case is shorter then the s9 case  but if the hash board can slide into the groves the s7 or s5 would work.

I have 4 s9's and buysolar has 1.

I sold off 1 s9  but I have had more time to play around with these and I think I can make a 4th 400 watt miner  with 1 board.

I am getting some parts today and will try to build 1 of them.  If it works I could end up making 12 to 15 of them.
