Hello . At 2 cents per KWh it is profitable to mine anything that goes through your head.  Go to whattomine.com and pick your coin. For example i mined UBQ for 5 days with 10 GPUs (HD 7970 and R9 280x) and made 72 UQB which is shit given the current price and the fact that in my country i pay 12 cents / KWH. But i still made a profit .

Think for yourself
Since your asking about Bitcoin and altcoins, I would suggest posting in the altcoin section as well.

And try to keep the discussion on topic for the section you are in.

Hello there!

I am really interested in starting mining some criptocurrency as the electricity costs are really cheap here in my country (0.02 USD/kw). I have been reading quite a lot these days, though I have to admit, so many questions are still remaining.

Thus, I would appreciate if experienced miners suggested me what would be the best way to start mining in my conditions? I need to mention, I live in an apartment with a free room to put mining setups (home mining), but that room has no AC, plus I would prefer something not too noisy. In addition, in my country summers are quite hot (40 C) and winters are moderately cold (~0 C at day; -10 C at night). Electricity supply is stable, internet is stable (but I use 4G with limited traffic of 30-80GB/month depending on plan and unlimited 256kbit/s after the traffic's over). So keeping in mind these factors, could you please suggest me if it will make any sense for me in terms of money and what is the best way to mine? BTCs using ASICs or altcoins using GPU setups?

Thanks a lot in advance!
