I've recently started discussing with a dev in India... I had a bit of a look around and was strongly advised to use some one local.. the price though.. it can't be beat

I'd be willing to give you some info on the pricing I got to see if its in your ball park and give you this devs details if you want. he was personally recommended by a few people.. I just mean using a dev that was errhm... offshore was not recommend.

Yeah I've heard that a lot of freelancers will steal your work if they think it is a good idea. I would rather spend the extra $$$ for a professional.
If you could pass on the details, that would be great!
